On September 25, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Hale Youth and Community Centre in north Farnham, Surrey. The Duchess met staff, parents, and toddlers at the 'Stay and Play Toddler Group' and heard how they benefit from this service. The Hale Community and Youth Centre (Sandy Hill Community Bungalow) is a community resource that provides a range of services, activities, and meeting spaces for residents of all ages in its neighbourhood.

Great NO apart of the Duchess's smile of course.

An odd mish-mash of colours for the full outfit, though I like the cut, colour and fit of the jacket very much.

So often the case with Sophie ( and Fergie atm)… some great individual pieces but they don’t go together to make a great outfit. LRB

Isn’t the photo withe baby just brilliant. Love the duchess but her taste in clothes isn’t improving. Too many colours here. Jacket and top would be nice with the matching trousers; top and trousers would be good with a different coloured jacket. Unsure if this is an improvement on the frumpy dresses

  5. What a wonderful smile! But I don't like the green trousers.

    1. I agree. Everything looked ok until I scrolled down to the green trousers. Otherwise, she is lovely and has a beautiful smile. She seems very approachable.

Yes,never seems to make it in the fashion stakes, but who cares, she has a beautiful smile, and get the feeling she's a really genuine down to earth woman

I thought Sophie looked great, until I saw the pictures showing she is wearing green pants. This outfit looks mismatched colorwise.

Love Sophie and these pictures are why she is so loved and respected. But this outfit--oh my! I like each of the parts but not put together. The Gabriella Hearst suit is so beautiful--wish she had worn it with the pink sweater blouse. I love the green trousers and feel sure she had something to choose from other than the Hearst jacket and the pink sweater blouse. Oh well--Sophie looks beautiful!

As said above, individually fine, together no. I wonder if she feels she has to wear a jacket, perhaps some archaic reason left over from another era

Now those are some beautifully tailored pants! LOVE them. And I love the outfit’s lovely, soft autumnal color palette. Total win, imo. — Jane

An attempt at color-blocking gone awry, unfortunately. Good hair and make-up. Why, oh why didn't she just wear the original, beautiful, pantsuit?

  11. The outfit, the colors combined I don't like. The bottom photo of when she wore the pantsuit before looks great.

  12. Usually when I select what I am going to wear for the day I start with one item and go from there. It appears when the Duchess put her outfit together she just could not make up her mind between the brown blazer, the pink blouse or the green pants so she just said oh what the hell I will just wear them all together!

I agree with the majority of a bad combination of colors. Sophie does this regularly. The green pants have to go. The pink sweater matches well the chocolate brown (fashion color this Winter) blazer. Looking at the last picture she has the complete pant suit. Why didn't she wore it and left the green pants in her closet. She looks much better and younger with her hair loose.

I actually quite like the combination of soft autumn colours, each of which suit her. Why go with what’s normal when you can go out one step further and bring a little more colour along?! I’m not sure I would have dared to mix so many, but think the result is lovely on Sophie. - Grace

No it is not and you are the only one, who does not see it. Maybe she has a green pantsuit too. I have nothing against green. what she could do also is for example wear the chocolate blazer with the same color of shirt, sweater or blouse and then wear the green pants. Or the green pants with a sweater or T-shirt in the same green and the chocolate blazer. So many stylish possibilities but no she just picks out the wrong ones.

  14. Belle coupe du pantalon mais la couleur verte ne se combine pas du tout avec le reste de sa tenue ; un merveilleux sourire qui compense !

The jumper with the full suit would have been lovely, but with the green trouser,is too much.
Also I would prefer the jacket unbuttoned,it seems to pull across the middle when buttoned up.
Sophie herself is a jewel in the BRF.Her hard work is to be applauded.
