This is a beautiful jacquard silk dress. I prefer no buttons until the hemline, but that is my personal taste. The length is good and her shoes and hair are beautiful too. The lady with the long tunica and white pants wears ugly thick shoes with it which are more convenient in the snow during winter.

    1. Anon 14:27 The lady you talk about in the long tunic and white pants and ugly shoes, could be, in fashion termes, "bohemien neo-hippie chic" 😀 or something like that.

    2. Or to put it in plain, simple English, a "fashion mess" 😀

      @ deadeggs
Whatever the name is of her style I've seen better boho-chic than this.

Yes, if she’s going to do “boho chic” she should do it with style.
She could get fashion “boho-chic” inspiration fromTatiana Casiraghi of Monaco.
She knows how to do it with style.
In fact, Tatiana pushes it one step further and does super Nomad Bo-ho Chic. 😁

  5. Lovely dress and great shoes. Although the dress is plain white, the fabric gives it interest and it's a very flattering cut for Princess Sofia. I'm wondering why the lady in the first and last photos came to a reception in her pyjamas and robe!

Nice clothes on the lady, in black and white, pic 1 and 3!

Lovely dress, looks comfortable, has good movement. It would be nice to see her hair cut to shorter, this length does not frame her face nicely.

Why would she cut her hair shorter ? Why don't you ask the same question at Queen Mary whose hair has exactly the same length ?

Very nice look, for Sofia today. In the next months we are bump watching, so happy for them. Maybe this time we see a little Pss. css

She looks lovely but, always a but, imagine ifshe wore a pop of color instead of nude pumps. Even a subtle blue grey would have added so much.

    1. Hello Cinci. Thanks for mentioning ‘a pop of colour'.
There haven't been many occasions lately to give our ‘pop of colour’ advice to the royal ladies.
But being serious and noting that it is an evening event, perhaps a colour would take away the subdued, class look of the dress.
