On September 3, 2024, Queen Silvia attended Silviahemmet's solemn diploma ceremony at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre in Stockholm. Minister Anna Tenje, Rector Wilhelmina Hoffman from the Silviahemmet Foundation, Rector Johanna Adami from Sophiahemmet University, Rector Annika Östman from Karolinska Institute, and Rector Roger Klinth from Marie Cederschiöld University were present at the ceremony.
Every year, newly graduated Silvia Sisters, Silvia Nurses, Silvia Doctors, Silvia Physiotherapists, Silvia Occupational Therapists, Care Administrators, and Deacons with diplomas from Silviahemmet are invited to Silviahemmet’s solemn diploma ceremony in the presence of Queen Silvia.
Silviahemmet is a Swedish non-profit foundation with the mission to spread knowledge about dementia through various educational initiatives. The foundation also runs a day care center at Drottningholm, near Stockholm.
She is a remarkable woman. Always immaculate and engaged. Her fashion is timeless and royal.
