On September 15, 2024, Queen Letizia of Spain celebrates her 52nd birthday. Queen Letizia (Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano) was born on September 15, 1972, in Oviedo, the capital city of Asturias. In 2004, Letizia married Felipe, who was then the Prince of Asturias and heir apparent to King Juan Carlos I. After Juan Carlos's abdication in June 2014, Felipe became king, making Letizia queen consort. The King and Queen have two daughters, Crown Princess Leonor, born on October 31, 2005, and Infanta Sofia, born on April 29, 2007.
