On September 23, 2024, Queen Mary attended the presentation of the Teaching Awards 2024 at the Copenhagen Opera House. Upon her arrival, the Queen was welcomed by Minister of Education and Research, Christina Egelund. Seven educators from higher education institutions were honored with the 2024 Teaching Award. The purpose of the awards is to recognize the great importance that inspiring, inclusive and innovative teachers have for the students and for the way students learn.
The seven winners of this year's teaching award: Associate Professor Iben Holm Fogstrup from the Absalon University, Professor Camilla Hedegaard Møller from the Royal Academy, Associate Professor Marie Kristine Kjelgaard from MARTEC, Associate Professor Sofie Pedersen from Roskilde University, Assistant Professor Vashanth Selvadurai from the Dania Business Academy, Associate Professor Jaume Castan Pinos from the University of Southern Denmark, and Associate Professor Juljana Gjata Hjorth Jacobsen from VIA University College.
As a teacher of 31 years I love seeing these professionals honored, receiving their awards from their Queen. Queen Mary looks gorgeous and very happy to be part of this awards ceremony--maybe because her own father was a university mathematics professor.

Hm, somehow I have a problem with Victoria Beckham's tops, they always look way off for me with weird necklines, weird sleeves, etc. I don't like them. I've noticed that a few times now. Otherwise a good colour combination
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's like she never took a construction class so her blouses are just...off.
DeleteI agree VB designs are creative and expensive, not necessarily nice. And I find they are only suited to very thin people. Not my taste
DeleteShe looks like Sophia Loren!
ReplyDeleteDid you see a recent picture of Sophia Loren ? She became 90 years old lately.
DeleteMary’s very pretty but she doesn’t look like Sophia Loren…!
DeleteAnon 15:52.The comment was probably meant in a derogatory and nasty way. These trolls are best ignored.
Paloma.
I like the black dress the minister is wearing, suits and fits her well.
ReplyDeleteIt suits her figure well!
DeleteI noticed her dress as well. Very nice.
DeleteThe Queen again looks beautiful, that last photo of her is simply stunning, a gorgeous photo of her in motion. Love her handbag!
ReplyDeleteAlways in style. Like this skirt a lot.

Credit should go to Victoria Beckham for creativity. The top has a very unique and unusual design. The knotted neckline and slit sleeves are very eye catching and flattering. But because it is such a bold piece it looks a bit over the top paired with such a busy pleated skirt. It looks best on the model with simple black pants.
