On September 23, 2024, Queen Mary of Denmark participated in the National Conference for Health Nurses (Landskonference for Sundhedsplejersker) with the Mary Foundation at the Tivoli Hotel and Congress Center in Copenhagen. The Queen delivered an opening speech at the conference. The conference is the largest annual gathering for health nurses from across the country. It takes place once a year at different locations around Denmark.

ReplyDeleteYou have to be kidding! Queen Mary does not have to think she is anyone except herself, Her Majesty Queen Mary of Denmark. She became the Crown Princess of Denmark 20 years ago this past May while Catherine was still a university student. I don't think either lady sees herself as anyone other than who she is and certainly don't believe they imitate each other.
DeleteRidiculous comment. Why would she even try to compete with PQ. Great Britain is not the center of everybody’s world. That said, I usually like QM outfits but not this one. Love the blouse, but not so much the skirt nor the combination of both pieces.

DeleteNot ridiculous at all. I think I know what Anon. 17:26 wishes to say. There is a certain type of women which everyone seems to favor, let's say the last 8 years ? or is it already 10 years ? As well Princess Catherine (Kate) as Queen Mary correspond at that type of woman. Also Queen Letizia corresponds a bit with the same type. She cutted her hair shorter lately, can be recommended sometimes. She cannot wear very high stiletto's anymore, due to feet problems. All the other beautiful royal women who look different (themselves) or who are not responding on that "ideal" type of women are considered as not important/interesting. However, these "ideal" women are nothing more than creations by the fashion industry (hairstyle, sort of clothes, sort of make-up, etc...). They did not look like each other in the beginning. They changed themselves slowly but surely. But their look will dissappear too, maybe sooner than later. We'll see which one will be the first to wish something else....not having their hair the same way like that other queen is doing hers, not buying shoes or clothes from the same brands any more.... At the same time they are considered as role models for other women and girls, but that will also not last forever. Fashion wise : since she is Queen, Mary's fashion choices did not change very much. On the one hand it is good for the climate and planet earth but on the other hand it is quite boring sometimes. One cannot repeat eternally the same comments on clothes she is wearing since the last 5 years.
Possibly the other way around. Mary married Fred way before Kate appeared on the royal scene. Try to read a bit before making comments.

I love this beautiful blue blouse not just the color, but the interesting neckline and cuffs of her sleeves, unusual and appealing. The skirt is gorgeous very pretty and feminine. She looks very elegant. The color of her shoes is a great choice. Love, love! her pearl bracelet, beautiful as are her pearl earrings.
