The white dress of Pss Theodora for this pre-wedding party is beautiful. The best is her smile. I am glad she is so happy. Pss Ninas dress is also very elegant and of the other RL. I am waiting with anticipation to see the Wedding gown. I wish them all the happiness they can handle.

Princess Theodora’s dress would be fine except for the huge bow in the back. Princess Alexia has such a beautiful family although her outfit seems a bit too much in color and style in my opinion. Princess Benedikte looks lovely and elegant as usual. I like the colors and pattern of her dress. Don’t like the ‘holes’ in Nina’s sleeves but the color of the dress is beautiful. Love Queen Sofia’s colorful necklace. Infanta Cristina’s outfit is nothing special. Looks like Infanta Elena is wearing a gorgeous shawl and it’s be nice to see more of it.

  3. I like the gown, the skirt has some nice movement, but the large bow on the back of her gown, I dislike. Pss Bene looks lovely, very elegant, like her choice of jewelry. Queen Sofia also looks nice. Infanta Elena, looks very well groomed and elegant. The blue dress with the cut outs looks okay, but I saw a photo elsewhere and the sleeves ruin the overall look, they are huge!
Princess Alexia of Greece looks beautiful, as do her daughters, all wearing pretty ensembles.

  5. Purple must definitely be the color of the evening. Of course Princess Benedikte is a vision to behold and queen Sofia looks lovely as well. I have never seen Crown Princess Marie-Chantal look prettier in her black dress and to me this is the twenty-first century and black is not just for funerals anymore, thank goodness and I know some may differ and they are entitled to their opinions too as we all are!

Je pense que la robe de M-C est bleu marine, assortie aux costumes de ses fils, mais ce n'est pas très joyeux. Paloma

Benedikte et Sofia: quel chic. Ainsi que toutes les dames présentes. Belle famille que celle d’Alexia.

  7. I usually find Princess Benedikte very stylish, but not this time, perhaps the picture?
Im glad to see Infanta Cristina, it seems that she is more out and about lately, she had a very rough years, decade a dare say and I'm glad she is in the open more, but I must admit her skirt seems to come directly from the 80's right? Or is only me?

  8. Theodora is radiant.

The children of Princess Alexia are all quite beautiful, especially the girls.

Princess Nina looks more elegant than I have ever seen her, certainly more successful than at her own pre-wedding festivities!

  10. I like very much Theodora's dress, including the bow at the back; it is entire part of the design.

  12. Comme d'habitude, la princesse Benedikte est toujours très classe ; dommage de ne pas la voir de plein pied - Bon choix que ses boucles d'oreilles pendantes dont les couleurs reprennent en partie celles de sa tenue !

Big bow in the back makes that dress beautiful.

Huge bow on her back is just too much but otherwise her dress fit’s fine

Paloma.

Queen Sophia wears a beautifull silk combination, crowned with a long string of pearls: stunning.
There are some beautifull dresses, but why are the men not in matching suits?
I think the open collars too informal in combination with the ladies.

What joy to see the extended Greek royal family together. What a good looking family they are. I’m not fan of Crown Princess Marie-Chantal’s dress for this event. Queen Letizia wore an elegant black dress recently but his one is too dull ( there is a poster somewhere who might say nun like! 😂😂) I liked Princess Maria- Olympia’s dress from a distance but don’t like the neckline. Princess Alexia’s family look lovely and the Spanish Infantas, who tend to be casual not to say scruffy, are looking good too. Miguel and Irene Urdangarin have grown into very good looking young people. Can’t wait for the wedding photos.

      @ AnnieM
CP Marie-Chantal's dress is not black but navy and the designer is Louis Vitton. I found this information on other sites.

    2. Thanks for the info, Anon 07 16. You can tell I am not 'au fait' with designer outfits! I have now seen photos elsewhere. It's a super smart dress but I still think it's rather sombre for the occasion.

I've always been told that square necklines are only beautiful for extra thin ladies. Although the idea for the pre-wedding dress is not bad, the skirt of the dress looks beautiful, but the big bow is not a plus. The high block heels are not elegant with the dress and do not match the rest of her festive shoes. Block heels are fashion I know, but I prefer them with silver or golden sandals and not too high. Except for the outfits of Princess Benedikte, Queen Sofia and the make-up of former Queen Anne-Marie (she looks very happy and joyful), I cannot say the other ladies are well dressed. The dress code for men not to wear a tie I can understand for a country were it is probably still warm in the evening, but like somebody said the contrast with the ladies is a bit too big.

Theodora looks lovely and her dress is beautiful--a style that is very flattering for her. My one issue is the too big bow--make much smaller or ditch it altogether and her dress is perfect. Alexia looks marvelous in her fuchsia top although her skirt is a bit too long. Her daughters are gorgeous! The ladies of Anne Marie's generation are all beautifully dressed--elegant as well as comfortable. How wonderful to see Gustave and Carina in attendance--I saw them on another site. Can't wait for the pictures of the wedding!

I love that she added the bow! - she’s a bride, why not absolutely enjoy and have fun being the bride - in the lead up activities too. Does she love it? Does he love it? Done! All the best to this couple, and the families. - Grace
