On September 7, 2024, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, along with their twins, Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, attended the traditional end-of-summer picnic (Pique-Nique Monegasque) events, held at the Princess Antoinette Park in Monaco. The event is organized by the City Council of Monaco. Each year, the traditional picnic marks the end of the summer season.

The twins are so cute. Prince Albert looks much better here then he did at the water bike event. Prince Jacques' mini me outfit looks great. I love the colour of Princess Charlene's outfit but the off shoulder styling doesn't improve it in my view.

DeleteCharlene looks good in red, but the top of her outfit fits oddly and makes her appear lopsided.

She doesn't look good in any of her pantsuits. Yesterday she was pictured in one where the crotch was hanging so low she looked ridiculous.

DeleteYes and why are they all dressed more or less formal for a picnic ? Let the children be children and don't put them into clothes in which they cannot play. No wonder Gabriella doesn't look happy again.

DeleteI think the twins are absolutely adorable. Prince Jacques is dressed like his daddy in a classic blue blazer which is perfect for an event in Monaco. Princess Gabriella is dressed in a cute white sundress which is perfect for an outdoor event though I would just love to see how she looks! without bangs so we can better see her face. Do you not think they dress casual at the palace when they play!

ReplyDeleteI don't think Princess Gabriella has worked out yet how to work with the camera men. And their mum looks great.
They are always so affectionate to one another, like those photos from last year's Saint Devota day. It's very endearing. Prince Jacques is a copy of Charlene, while Princess Gabriella looks just like Albert, in turn making her look very much like Grace.

DeleteIf I look at CP Elisabeth and her brothers and sisters when they had about the same age, they were dressed in bright colors especially in the summer. Their clothes were always matchy as well the girls and the boys. Of course they had sometimes a moment that they were a bit shy or annoying themselves during a long church ceremony or during a national day, but it never took long. They were laughing at each other and at their parents and they were most of the time at ease each time they came out for an event or a ceremony. When they went with their parents go biking or to a play garden they were always happy and climb on everything that was foreseen to do so. They played with farm animals and birds and felt always at ease.

ReplyDeleteGreat family pictures! I love Gabriella's dress--very pretty. I like Charlene's jumpsuit and would love it had the off the shoulder been more of a slouch-style neckline, slightly off her shoulder. As it is in these photos it looks like it's not fitted properly because it is too stretched and makes the whole bodice look too tight. Still, Charlene looks smashing in red!

ReplyDeleteI don't think a princess of that young age needs to wear Dior. How can they learn about sustainability and things like that. About respect for mother earth....I know maybe they are making promotion for a brand or received it as a present, but in the normal world outside children do not wear Dior, Chanel and the like. They are the only children of aristocrats that are wearing these brands (especially Princess Gabriella). Prince Jacques he is always dressed like an old man.

I really like Charlene’s longer hair. She looks great in red but this outfit is not a good look on her. The top looks odd and it is a bit tight on her around the middle.
ReplyDeleteFor a split second I thought this was a two-piece situation with some belly showing, but alas, it's a brown belt. Not a fan of the whole ensemble to be honest. The bodice looks ill-fitting and I think those non-structured off-the-shoulder designs always look a bit cheap. Also not sure about the brown accessoires. The colour of the jumpsuit itself redeems this a bit though - red looks stunning on Charlène!

ReplyDeleteI hardly ever like PC’s outfits, hair or make up, but she looks smashing in this red jumpsuit. The off shoulders makes her look less square/make her shoulders look less prominent. I’m sorry to say but both children have a kind of “Adams family” about them. That will change for sure.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I've noticed that too about the "Adams family". The twins are both very pale. Or they are not staying outside much or they have both an extremely sensible skin and don't support the sometimes burning sunshine of the countries nearby the Mediterranean Sea.
