On Monday, September 23, King Frederik and Princess Benedikte visited the Danish Parliament (Folketinget) in connection with the archaeological preliminary investigations at Rigsdagsgården, which took place over the summer. During the visit, the King and the Princess were presented with the construction project 'The Future Danish Parliament,' which aims, among other things, to open the Parliament to more visitors.
The Future Danish Parliament project includes a visitor center, allowing more citizens to visit the Parliament, learn about its work, and feel inspired to take part in democracy. The King and the Princess also participated in a tour of the construction site, where the archaeological preliminary investigations were showcased.
La princesse Benedikte ne cesse pas de m'épater car elle est toujours très bien vêtue en combinant le style de la tenue, les couleurs jusque dans ses chaussures - Superbe son collier de perles !
ReplyDeleteBenedikte is one of the most stylish royals of the older generation, she is stunning! Frederik looks like very relaxed.
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteFredrick looks disrespectful, is he even the king! he should learn from aunt Benedikte how to suit up
DeletePrincess Benedikte is 'CLASS' in capital letters.
ReplyDeleteKing Frederik is looking quite dapper in his smart casual mix.
Princess Benedikte always elegant and classy. Her outfit is classically lovely.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree - couldn't have said it better!
DeleteBenedikte looks her usual elegant, immaculate self. It’s nice to see her and Frederik together for this.

Love the coat on PB. Try as I might to like the king’s casual look, somehow he always looks frumpy. His jacket is very nice, so maybe if he combed his hair and had a better fitting shirt it would improve the look. Still he is very easy on the eyes. Love that he is with his aunt.

DeleteI agree, although King Frederik remains a bit dishevelled with his clothes, he is still easy on the eyes.
You know, there’s still some of the ‘wild boy’ left in King Frederik.
He’s taking his time in saying goodbye to his sporty mates.
But don’t worry, help is on the way.
With all the good examples being set by Queen Mary he’ll soon tame down and get himself on the rails.
Photo #4, wow. The colors of her outfit are perfect together. She looks beautiful! ~~Ruthie
ReplyDeleteOh my, she would be one of the most elegant and well dress Princess, I have ever seen. How wonderful she looks. The coat, wow! simply gorgeous. I love the design, and color, fits her perfectly. The color of her bag, picking up the color in her blouse, clever addition. I ' m not sure if her shoes are dark blue or black, on my screen? The pearl necklace, the size of the pearls, perfect. Lovely elegant addition. She is the epitome of elegance and style.
ReplyDeleteAnd let's not forget, Princess Benedikte is now a young 80 year old.
DeleteVery classy as always.

Can you imagine Princess Anne in such a classic and elegant outfit ? Even in different colors like 2 tones of blue or 1 tone of lighter blue for the coat and a ligth grey tone for the skirt or dress. With a pair of navy shoes with a little heel and a new navy hangbag she would look perfect for her formal visits.
ReplyDeleteBut Princess Anne only wears "proper" clothes.
DeleteShe's quite happy with her pre-vintage wardrobe.
All this fashion stuff is like water on a duck's back (or horse's back) for the Princess 😀
Princess Benedikte looks lovely and elegant--her outfit is beautiful and I love the blue handbag. She and King Frederik are both so interested in this event--and I love the interaction between them. They make a good pair and I am sure he knows he can rely on his aunt for her support.
