On the evening of September 17, a concert was held in memory of the late Marianna Vardinogiannis at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Herodeon) in Athens. Queen Maxima and Crown Princess Amalia of the Netherlands, Queen Anne-Marie, Crown Prince Pavlos, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal, Princess Theodora, Prince Nikolaos, and Prince Philippos of Greece, as well as Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, attended the memorial concert for Marianna Vardinogiannis.
Marianna was a Greek UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, an activist for the rights of children and families, and campaigned against child sexual abuse through her Foundation for the Child and the Family. She was also the President of the Elpida Association of Friends of Children with Cancer. Marianna was born on June 2, 1937, in Athens and passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 86, after a life dedicated to philanthropy and activism.
Literally everyone attending looks stunning! Not much more to say, lovely dresses, pantsuits, jumpsuits, fantastic hair and make-up on everyone attending. A lovely memorial.

The colour of Maxima’s jumpsuit is a no for me: to bleak.

Love Maxima in that outfit; although the strange cutouts in the arms are a weird choice by Elie Saab … the sleeves would look better without them and yet they probably raised the cost of the outfit by quite a bit due to the extra work? Happy weekend all - Grace
DeleteOnce you buy in a category like Elie Saab you don't look if the price of one outfit is a bit more expensive than the price of another outfit by the same designer. Why the cutouts are weird ? It makes the jumpsuit more interesting.

I think that all of the ladies look stunning and I especially like the combination of the ME + Em dress and the shoes the lovely lady is wearing. I think that the neutral color on Queen Maxima is nice for a change and looks very soft and flattering with her pretty complexion!
ReplyDeleteAmalia est très bien dans ce costume rose. Ses accessoires dorés sont parfaits pour une soirée. Ma tenue préférée est le pantalon noir et tunique noire à col bijou (et je trouve cette femme belle et classe). Par contre je n'aime aucune des autres robes. Quel dommage de ne plus voir la belle Tatiana ! Paloma.

ReplyDeleteI don't like the dresses of the two royal ladies on the left and right of former Queen Anne-Marie. I like the outfit of the beautiful lady wearing black pants and a black top with a golden embellishment at the neckline. I see that the Greek president and her husband are also present.
