The Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, is making a two-day official visit to Stockholm. On Monday, September 2, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson hosted an official dinner for the Emir and several Qatari ministers at Sager House (Sagerska Huset), the official residence of the Prime Minister of Sweden. Crown Princess Victoria and Speaker Andreas Norlén attended the dinner, along with Foreign Minister Tobias Billström and Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell.

This gown is very pretty and feminine. The fit is good. She has worn this before, I like it. Her accessory color is great. Prince Daniel looks well groomed and attired, a handsome man.
ReplyDeleteCP looks nice in this colour, however this gathered bodice just does not give a nice line. Looks like saggy breasts, imo
ReplyDeleteJ’aime bien la robe de Victoria. Je rêve du jour où elle se coiffera autrement, de façon plus relâchée.
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteDon't dream about that, it will not happen ....
DeletePretty dress, Chris L.
ReplyDeleteWow. Victoria looks SO beautiful in this dress — just fabulous. It fits her like a glove. (And let’s say it, she has a gorgeous figure.) Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love these feminine romantic dresses! She looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLes lignes de cette robe imprimé floral conviennent bien à Victoria même si sa longueur cache trop ses chaussures ; dommage que je ne vois pas mieux ses boucles d'oreilles ?!
ReplyDeleteHhm. Not bad, though I cannot rid myself of the nighty-vibes I get. I think the very simple, unflattering and tight hair bun is partly to blame for this impression. She really needed a more elegant and glamourous styling in order to elevate the dress to evening wear. But even then still, I´d probably still find this kind of design (colour & pattern) more suited for nightwear or even bed linen than for an evening gown.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the dress fits beautifully, the print reminds me too much of a nightgown. I like the first wearing much better, with the gold shoes and bag, and with her hair in the fuller, lower bun. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThat "ball" on the back of her head - such a shame
ReplyDeleteI am afraid I must agree with the nightwear and bed linen vibes.
ReplyDeleteVery nice dress on kpr V!
ReplyDeleteQuel important service d'ordre ! (Photo 2).
ReplyDeleteLes robes de Malina font souvent chemises de nuit.
Madeleine porte aussi ce style de robes, elle aime les fleurs et les coloris pastels. Ce n'est pas trop mon goût mais je comprends que beaucoup aiment ça. Paloma.
Very pretty and feminine dress--and Victoria looks lovely in it.

Cannot make up my mind if I like this dress. css
ReplyDeleteI think Princess Victoria has well chosen the dress for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteO.K. the pattern is not to everyone's liking.
The invited guests for the dinner are all men and some maybe of the muslim faith.
I think the princess is playing it safe with long sleeves, high neckline and long skirt.
I made a comment the other day about how when she dresses to the nines, she really nails it. What is unfortunate in her day wear, which I generally appreciate because she puts a lot of effort in, is the hair being pulled so tightly and the crew neckline of the garments she chooses. They do not flatter, and taken together can be a miss. That said, they clearly are from her comfort zone. I happen to think this dress is washing her out.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is ok, but the styling is terrible so we end up with a boring look. Too bad could have been great.
