Given that it was a private dinner with family during summer vacation (not a regnant duty event), I like all the ladies' outfits. Everything is casual, smart looking and very suitable to each woman's style. No comment about anything being too long, too short, wrong shoes, too aging for her age, better hairstyles...nothing. They are enjoying each others company, caring for each other, and they look relaxed and content. That to me is a beautiful thing.

Love QL dress very nice fit and pattern. PL great look, not keen on PS dress, i know she is tall and slim, but sometimes a dress with shape looks better, though I realize wearing slip dresses are in.QS lovely as always. PI nice colour on her. You can see her ankles are very swollen. PT nice relaxed style. Great to see all the family together to enjoy an evening.

As always Letizia's dress is tailored to perfection. The repeat of the pattern is the perfect size to not be overwhelming. Hair and accessories..perfect.
Abuela takes charge! Saturated red top and white trousers perfect for a summer evening.
The young ladies grow prettier every day.

I love Princess Sofia's dress from Zara. This style of dress is perfect for her length and so much better than the short childish dresses she wears sometimes. Queen Letizia's dress is looking good too but I don't like the uneven hem and certainly not the white lining that can be seen (pict N°4).

The pattern was most likely printed on plain fabric rather than woven into it. A technique that is centuries old. Toile is a good example. A little knowledge to shape future dislikes.

To add..It is a lining! Was not scrutinizing her to the millimeter for flaws.

Paloma.

  10. Nice to see a rare photo of Princess Tatiana Radziwill.
Lovely holiday/casual look with her white trousers and striped top.
Although, with her connections to the Greek, Spanish, Danish and other European royal families, she has stayed off the radar screen.
I think she was one of the bridesmaids for Queen Sofia’s wedding.
Since her childhood, she has always been a close friend of Queen Sofia of Spain. Nice to see them spending some time together.
She is 84 years old, looking well but apparently needs a little help for walking.

      @ Deadeggs
Caroline Lee Radziwill (maiden name Bouvier) was the sister of Jacqueline Bouvier (Jacky Kennedy). Her second husband was the polish prince Radziwill. She used the name Lee Radziwill.

    3. Hello Anon 15:16
Thank you for the information. Your information on Jackie Kennedy’s sister, Caroline Lee Bouvier is correct. She died in 2019 at the age of 85.
Caroline Lee Bouvier was not a princess.
The person who is the long childhood friend of Queen Sofia is Princess Tatiana Radziwill. She is the person in the wheelchair wearing white pants and a blue striped top.
      She is 84 years old.

I read your first comment about Tatiana Radziwill. That is why I added what I know about Lee Radziwill. I thought maybe Deadeggs knows the connection between Tatiana and Lee Radziwill. Where their husbands brothers or nephews ? Thx.

    5. Hello Anon 12:53
You asked if I know the connection between Tatiana and Lee Radziwill.
Sorry but can’t give you a short, clear answer to your question.
Tatiana Radzwill is a Princess. Her name is Princess Tatiana Maria Renata Eugenia Elisabeth Margarete Radziwiłł.
She is a close childhood friend of Queen Sofia of Spain. That is her in the white trousers and striped blue blouse in the wheelchair.
Lee Radziwill (sister of Jackie Kennedy) is 100 percent American.
She was born in America, lived all her life and died (2022) in America. I’ve read that she had an apartment in Paris.
Lee Radziwill took on the name of Radziwill via her second marriage to Prince Stanisław Albrecht Radziwiłł,
For a short while she used the courtesy title of Princess until she divorced her husband in 1974.
So I’d take a guess and say that there is no relationship between the two women.
The life of Jackie Kennedy’s sister, Lee Radziwill is an interesting read. Since her death five years ago, there has been a lot of “buz” about who got the fortune she left.
She has a daughter. Her son died at a the age of 40.
On a fashion note, it is said that she managed to purchase French-made clothing for her sister, the first lady, technically enabling Jackie to maintain a vow that she only purchased items made in the United States.

Queen Letizia’s dress is lovely, both colour and style. Queen Sofia looks good in red and white without the overly patterned outfits she often favours.

Dear No Name 11:29, Queen Letizia‘s dress has a lining, excellent, it shows a tiny bit, something technical. In view of the fact that we have seen so many royals and semi-royals with no proper under-garments recently, there is absolutely nothing to criticize, what are you aiming at?

Always ready to attack ? I am no aiming at anything but I don't like that the white lining can be seen. If it was my dress, I would make the lining shorter. Satisfied now ?
