May HRH Prince Michael’s memory be eternal! It looks like HRH Princess Theodora was at the funeral too.

Paloma.

    2. Hello polama.
The lady you refer to is Prince Michael's wife, Marina Kerella.
They were married for almost 60 years.
They have 2 children, Proncess Alexandra and Princess Olga.

Rosselle, merci. Mais elle est plutôt la fille de Marina.

Oeufs morts, non, Marina n'est pas en robe, elle porte un costume blanc.

      Paloma.

  6. May Prince Michael rest in peace.
    All mourners wore classic black.
The Prince’s wife of 59 years, Marina Karella and one or two other women wore 100% white ensembles.
Maybe Helen could come up with the photo.

Wearing white at a funeral is not unusual. I remember when King Baudouin died, his widow Queen Fabiola wore also a white outfit at his funeral. A lot of people found that not done but afterwards it has been explained it had something to do with her beliefs and it was said that white is the color of "Hope".

White also represent eternity, and is used all over the world in funerals.

Queen Sofia (1st picture) must have problems with her feet/legs too. She is wearing thick black tights and black espadrilles. Normally she is always dressed appropriately, but this time she doesn't wear natural transparant tights or black transparent tights, but thick ones. The espadrilles are not looking good for a funeral.

Her Majesty was going to bury her cousin at Tatoi, walking on a dirt road to the Prince's entombment, and you talk of her shoes and what is appropriate? Really.

You are talking about other participants to the funeral too. I just said that it is not the normal way she dresses and I wonder if she had problems with her feet ? That's all.
