  1. Good choice by Queen Rania for the event.
My first reaction was a military look.
Needs a bit of the NewMyRoyals’ “pop-of-colour” treatment.
The fashion house COS says it’s a “Deconstructed” blazer and trousers.
Do they construct the blazer and trousers and then deconstruct them to get the final result?😀
COS was created by the Swedish fashion group H&M in 2007.
Some info and photos of their creations, if you're interested via……..

p.s. congratulations to Princess Ghida Talal for the work she is doing.

I appreciate your commentary, deadeggs. Yes, the NewMyRoyals following does have quite the obsession with "a pop of color". It is too bad we can't see more of this outfit on her.

Nice very Business-like. Something different for her. Th csse color gray looks good on her.

There is a COS boutique in Brussels since many years. Each time I went to Brussels to look at the boutiques, I visited the boutique of COS. I must say I never found something that was really beautiful. Their clothes were not very expensive but they ask too much money for the poor quality. Finally I gave up and never visited the COS boutique again.

    1. Hello Anon 07:03.
Interesting to read about your first hand experience with this brand.
I delved a little deeper and came up with this ….
      COS = “Collection Of Style”
Doesn’t appear to be the creation of one particular fashion designer but a range created by the group (H&M).
Although it started in London, it became part of the M&H Swedish group.
They say in their publicity, “where an ethos of pieces made to last beyond the season with a focus on craftsmanship and using sustainably sourced materials.
Perhaps one could say, a slightly slow version of fast fashion.
Or fast fashion with the brakes on.
They aim their creations at customers who have a simple lifestyle and who are modern.
They say their prices are justified by the quality of the fabrics they use.

      @ deadeggs
As a matter of fact they are (were) in the neighborhood of an H & M store. I don't know if they are still there since I am not visiting Brussels any more. It is not safe there for an older woman on her own. I prefer to go to the capital of the province in which I live or to a big Shopping Centre in my neighborhood where I can find the same articles as in the capital and there is always security personnel walking around.
