  2. Love seeing then all in their national team outfits. Disappointed we've not seen more of the British Royals. Perhaps the York Princesses, the Tindalls or Lady Louise could have attended.

Paloma.

Tindall is Zara Phillips married name. She and her husband often attend racing and athletic events. Lady Louise is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. They are King Charles’ nieces.

I just love the three ladies' hats (photo #3). All of them are wearing their individual styles so elegantly. Princess Benedikte can never put a foot wrong fashion-wise. Even at a sports event, her crimson outfit is summery and stylish (and patriotic, given the colour and her T-shirt). I also like Mary's crimson (linen?) jacket.

Yes she is. Today she dresses sporty and young and looks younger then a lot of princesses in Europe who are much younger than she is. Love it.

Oh, yes, she may be 80 but she look youthful, elegant and attentive.
I feel sorry for younger women who fret when they get 30 or 40 thinking now they are old and their life is over. No, they are not and no, their life is not over!
And Princess Benedikte shows that age is just a number and you can look great and active at any age!

Everyone is looking very average except for Benedikte. She stands out with her statement outfit.

    1. I would love to see Princess Benedikte wearing a pantsuit.
That would give a boost to the ladies in the over 80's club.

  6. J'ai de suite remarqué la princesse Benedikte toute vêtue de rouge ainsi que son chapeau estival avec la touche originale bleue qui a été rajoutée avec goût comme d'habitude !

    2. I think, from a non-expert lip reader that I am, he's telling Queen Mary that he wants to go to the bathroom (toilet).
Behind those dark glasses, Queen Mary is rolling her eyes and thinking "OH, not again" 😎

As far as I know, none of the Royal Danish children have attended the games so far, with or without their parents. I commented on another post that this was strange since they are all a very sporting family. To my knowledge, we've only seen the parents and P. Benedikte at the games to date. I hope they attend.

    3. Hello Anon 9:13
Yes but this is a very difficult time of the year to arrange a family programme. Start and finish of school year/s, summer holidays, visits to families etc.
I hope the Noreigans and the Finnish are able to get there before the end of the games (Sun Aug.11)
