Queen Camilla visited the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York Racecourse to officially open the new Bustardthorpe Development complex, which has been designed to improve racegoers' experience and features rainwater harvest tanks, solar panels, and a living roof. The Queen also presented the trophy to the winner of the Ebor Handicap, the oldest race in the organization's history, dating back to 1843. The Queen is Royal Patron of York Racecourse.
She looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love the hat and I love the coat dress. I'm just not sure whether I like the two together as they have somewhat different vibes. But the baby blue looks excellent on Camilla, she's done well. I also applaud the lady next to her for the daisy hat - if only she hadn't worn it with what looks like full funeral attire.

You are exactly right. Dress and hat are lovely individually but don´t go together. The colours match but the styles clash. Also, the hat seems a bit too small and sits rather high on her head.
DeleteThe daisy hat is silly in my opinion.
Agree !!
Delete@Nika - I agree - I like Camilla’s hat and her dress as individual pieces, but they don’t look quite right worn together.

J'aime beaucoup la nouveauté de son chapeau ainsi que celle de ses petits talons !
ReplyDeleteLove the dress, love the shoes, love the hat--but the hat doesn't quite go with the dress and shoes. The dress is beautiful on Queen Camilla--style, color, and fit are perfect. This might the first time I have seen Camilla in a hat where I'm not sure it flatters her--and I think it's her hairstyle. She could easily pull off this fabulous hat if her hair were styled differently. Still, she looks great!

Another nice, well fitted coat. Certainly a style Queen Camilla wears well

Stunning look for Q Camilla and very nice pale blue outfit. css
ReplyDeleteIt’s nice to see Camilla trying a different style of hat than we’ve seen on her, but imo this one sits rather awkwardly on her head, as though it’s a shade too small. — Jane
ReplyDeleteJe suis du même avis qu'anonymous 26-8-24 23:01 - en ce qui concerne sa coiffe. La reine Camilla aurait grand intérêt à faire apporter un changement sur sa coupe ce qui l'avantagerait grandement. Lorraine (Rose)
ReplyDeleteThe coatdress is beautiful, the embellishments are gorgeous, adding depth and interest to the coatdress. The blue color is stunning. What I don't like with this coatdress is the hat, there is too much of a difference between the hat and dress. Regardless of my tastes she looks splendid.
ReplyDeleteSadly Camillas hair is a mess .The hat and the outfit look fine. The hair is not fit for purpose, needs to be trimmed so it doesn't look like a tangled mess. Makeup is nice.I like the earrings (Tara)
ReplyDeleteCe chapeau n’est pas fit pour Camilla. Pu elle devrait le caler un peu plus sur sa chevelure, ici on a peur qu’il parte au vent.
ReplyDeleteNice shoes !!
ReplyDeleteQC looks best in pastels (my opinion) and this powder blue is fabulous. The dress is her usual style but I love the appliqué down the front. The low-heeled court shoes are elegant but practical. I think the hat is the one piece that’s wrong. One of her larger/wider brimmed hats would’ve been better. Over all, I give this look a nine! One of her best ensembles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hat, fashion shoes, beautiful handbag..... the dress ? Everything together : no. A clash of styles. The white hat on the white hair is not a good mix. The shoes and the handbag : O.K. The hat with the dress : 2 completely different styles. If she has a stylist, it is time to look out for someone else.
ReplyDeleteshe remembered the hat
ReplyDeleteEveryone in the UK loves Queen Camilla!
ReplyDeleteWell that statement is not about fashion, nor is it accurate , my dear. Some of us have longer memories.
DeleteLovely look but the hat seems like an after thought, I will just grab this and pop it on my head. It doesn’t work with her hair style.
ReplyDeleteThe hat and coat dress do not match in style. One is casual, the other meant for a more formal occasion. Also, the hat seems to sit oddly on her head, as if it were a little too small.
