On Saturday, 31 August, Princess Martha Louise and Durek Verrett will be getting married at Hotel Union in Geiranger. Princess Martha Louise and Durek Verrett organized a boat party for their guests on the second day of their pre-wedding celebrations. Princess Martha Louise and Durek then also threw a Latin American-themed pre-wedding party at Hotel Union.
Princess Martha Louise and Durek Verrett were joined by the royal family and close friends on the second day of wedding celebrations. King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway, along with Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of The Netherlands, joined the the bride and groom for the second day of their wedding celebrations.

He publicly identified as gay until sometime around 2019 (Vanity Fair states he has since updated his status to bisexual since meeting Martha Louise), which I think shows in his sartorial choices. He has, and continues to wear, some wild fashion. Märtha Louise and Durek wore matching bubblegum pink print outfits from Märtha Louise's brand Hest to a prewedding event.

DeleteThis is a fashion blog, so I’ll stick to fashion instead of the questionable behavior of ML and her fiancé. They look beyond horrible—ill-fitting and trashy-flashy pieces that clash and scream for attention and make the observer sorry they looked. They look like they wandered in from a street corner where the worst behavior is found. I gave these two a first try in this post but it will be the last time I open another post with their photos or names attached.

DeleteI think everyone is dressed comfortably, as is probably intended. Sverre's girlfriend, Amalie, is such a beauty and looks quite comfortable with the family. I don't see nothing wrong with Märtha's and Durek's clothes, it's their "thing" and why not. Ingrid's denim coat looks good, I would like the same.

He is desperately trying to be accepted by this family, and country. His fashion and out of the box thinking is not working in his favour. They appear to be a good match. I like the vibrant colours but it is a bit of mash up, creativity gone wild reflecting them, but not necessarily appealing to others. On with the show.

Delete@Rem The strong reactions come from the groom's history. It is not only his alternative beliefs but his criminal history and the documented lies that he has told throughout the years. His own mother and sister have spoken out to correct the record. The Norwegian royal family is giving a master class on how to behave in what is probably a difficult situation for them. They have accepted the fact that they cannot control her life. At the worst, if this marriage fails, she will still have her family to help her through.
