Princess Elisabeth and her siblings, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eleonore, officially arrived in Paris on Wednesday, August 8, to help cheer on Belgian athletes at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. On the second day of their visit to Paris, they visited the Olympic Village and Lotto Belgium House. Then, they watched the 100m hurdles race, the first event of the women's heptathlon competition at the athletics event. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Belgium is represented by a team of 165 athletes.
On August 9, 2024, Crown Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Princess Eleonore, and Prince Emmanuel attended the women's bronze medal field hockey match between Argentina and Belgium during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at Yves-du-Manoir Stadium in Colombes.
Elisabeth will have such a great support system when she becomes Queen, her siblings have her back.
ReplyDeleteGood comment, agree with you.
DeleteLet's hope so. They will get married and have their own families, it's impossible to know what will happen.
DeleteWhat a lovely bunch of siblings!
Can´t agree more - wonderful backbone for her.
DeleteWonderful view of "Stade de France"

Quelle charmante fratrie !
ReplyDeleteThe girls changend their trousers (last 2 pictures). Princess Eléonore wears a black pair instead of her white linen trousers and CP Elisabeth wears instead of her jeans an off white pair with a special detail : a knod on the left hip. I never saw pants like that. They must be the latest new fashion item. Makes me think at the assymetrical red jump suit worn by Queen Mary on the 1st day of the OG.
ReplyDeleteThere is a picture on "Queenmathilde.blogspot" where we can see that CP Elisabeth is wearing a ring on each hand. On one hand I saw a golden ring with 2 little flowers, the one on her other hand was not very visible. Except for their earrings the princesses are not wearing much jewelry. CP Elisabeth wears sometimes a bracelet or a beautiful ring when she must wear a gala dress. They usually borrow jewels from Queen Mathilde. CP Elisabeth borrows clutches from her mother too.
ReplyDeleteLove these famiy pics - just beautiful. ♡♡♡
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the closeness between the siblings.
ReplyDeleteThe siblings are close, that is obvious and its wonderful to see. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteAgree.
DeleteBut I've also noted that Princess Elisabeth smiles a lot.
She is going to be a beautiful, HAPPY Queen.
dead eggs, Yes I agree
DeleteShe has a lovely demeanour and real softness. She is a real asset.
They are obviously very close and very much like to be there. Lovely pictures.

On the pictures of the OG on Queenmathilde blogspot one can see that CP Elisabeth wears golden rings on each hand. The rings have the shape of a little flower.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful to see the close relationship of the Belgian siblings! So great to see them having such a good time together, enjoying such a unique experience.

There is a beautiful picture of K. Philippe and Q. Mathilde's children on another site when they stand all 4 together before a statue in Paris of former Queen Astrid of the Belgians, Princess of Sweden. I found it very touching that her great grandchildren stood there.
ReplyDeleteThey really are great Representatives for Belgium. All four Royals are doing a great job. The King and Queen must be so proud of them. css
ReplyDeleteThey are taking the opportunity to be together all 4. End August, begin September CP Elisabeth is leaving for Boston where she will study at Harvard University. Prince Gabriel will continue at the Royal Military School in Brussels. Prince Emmanuel, I don't know what he is going to do next school year and Princess Eléonore will continue secondary school at the International School of Brussels. They will not always be together until the Christmas holidays I suppose.
