Madame Macron: very chique, GD Maria Theresa: needs a stylist to dress figure appropriate imo

I was thinking the opposite! That Maria Theresa is looking chic and delightful - and that Madame Macron is looking tired and tense (?), and wondering if that outfit is washing her out a bit. Also, take a look at M. Macron’s shoes … is he wearing lifts? (I’m quite fascinated by which stars and politicians choose to wear them). - Grace

I agree with Grace. Madame Macron is wearing her usual uniform. She has a figure that allows her to experiment a bit more.

GD Maria Theresa's V neck jacket! even the paraolympian is looking at it like too much!
Now Mrs. Macron wearing mini skirts in her 70s with those knees!

I’m not a fan of her outfit but it certainly fits her well and ther’s absolutely nothing wrong with her knees. I am a lot younger and wouldn’t mind to switch !

First it is no a mini-skirt. Secondly Mrs Macron has always worn skirts just above her knees.

GD Marie looks very nice. I especially like the white jacket, the fit is good and the sleeve length is perfect for her size. Mrs. Macron is very thin somhard for anyone standing sith her t

So nothing has changed: Madame Macron is - as always - elegant, and Maria Theresa - as usual - can't find suitable clothes. Princess Astrid's coat (or whatever it is) - also a big no.

  7. Madame Macron a toujours beaucoup de goût pour se vêtir ; Maria Teresa a choisi une belle association de chez Armani mais le rajout de cette grande étole n'avantage pas du tout sa petite silhouette !

  8. 3 ladies of what could be termed 'late middle age' who all look absolutely amazing. Gives hope to those of us of a similar vintage! I love the colour of GD M-T outfit but while Mme Macron is as chic as usual, the heavy head of hair is beginning to make her look like a bobble doll. I love the whilte blouse worn by the Grand Duchess in the later photos.

We all know who the winner is here. Brigitte Macron always in style and elegant. Also, like MT outfit, lovely color does like her hairstyle a lot. Astrids outfit a nice rich color, but too much fabric at least for me. css

    1. No. Not "we all know how the winner is". I don't think Mme Macron with all her fake tan and fake hair has ever been a "winner".

How do you know her tan is fake ? She always had a tanned skin, since she was a young woman. There are pictures of that. There are people like that, put them 1 afternoon in the sun and they are looking like they went a on holidays for at least 15 days.

  10. GD MT looks nice in the apricot color. I like the idea of her silk top and pants, but I don't believe that she has the required height to make this outfit look successful. Regardless of my thoughts she looks elegant. I love the color of her shoes with this ensemble. However, the black pants and white embroidered top looks great. Madam Macron, looks very stylish and chic in her outfit, very elegant, as always.,

Love to see Princess Astrid of Belgium and her husband Prince Lorenz of Habsburg-Este representing Belgium at the Paralympics.
Fashionwise : to me the three ladies are equally dressed.

I really like MT’s outfit. Looks great on her and the colour is beautiful.

I have noticed that only a few royals are participating at the paralympics, of which the majority is family. GD Henri of Lux. and Princess Astrid of Belgium are cousins. Prince Amadeo and his wife are the children of Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz, her husband who are also there.

Imo Maria Teresa has looked glowing and lovely on this visit to France. The styles she has chosen to wear have flattered her and have looked both feminine and sophisticated. I am not always clear re which outfits are meant for events that transition into evening; the peach-colored Armani, especially with a stole as here, strikes that sort of note, as does the elegant navy and white worn by Princess Astrid. Mme. Macron’s signature style, in both hair and attire, is quite stiff and never seems to veer into the soft and feminine. That is a shame, because I think at least occasionally, a softer hairstyle and a pretty dress in a beautiful fabric with some flow and “give” to it would suit her wonderfully well.
