The colours are nice but the neck is odd (apparently its from 2011) I really don’t like the shoes. Km

Agree! Weird shoes. The whole outfit looks a bit dated. But I guess it's good to recycle. Her hair is nice though, and she seems to bee a lovely person.

It is so unbelievable that a small country like the Netherlands won so many medals. "Chapeau". The King and Q were enthousiastic fans at the OG itself.

Not a really flattering dress. Looks creased. And these very high shoes make her ankles look big…

Wow, bravo to Q. Max for walking down those stairs in these fun red shoes! Her hair looks lovely today, and I like the outfit but wish the skirt was just a couple of inches longer. (V.M.)

    2. These platform style shoes are worn by Princess Delphine of Belgium almost permanently.
But for her I think they are part of her “arty” look.
In my days they were referred to as beetle crushers

Unfortunately there's not much I like about the style of this dress. It lacks shape and fit, and I don't like the front and back neck detail, even after seeing more pics of it on other sites. What I do like is the combo of the taupe colour with splashes of bright red. And those shoes..wow.

  10. Like her hair pulled back. Very attractive and not distracting. Regardless of what she wears, she’s always quite attractive, but even more so when her hair is neat and tidy. Do like this King and Queen quite a lot! Seem like very nice people.

On the Dutch website "Modekoningin Maxima" the fashion specialist tell us that the dress is from 2011 and the shoes from 2015. They call the color of the dress "liver". The dress has been made longer in 2015. This time there was no fabric left to make it longer once again. The type of shoes by Miu Miu is fashion again in Europe this Summer. You like it or you don't like it. Queen Maxima has more muscles on her arms than before. She has a great shape and still can wear her older dresses. She is probably training every day. This year they are back from Summer holidays earlier than before. This is the first royal family in Europe who are receiving the winning athletes who participated at the Olympic games.

I remember these shoes from the ABBA era.
In fact, I had a pair and wore them with flared leg jeans.
Didn’t last long as I found them hard to walk in.
      Oh! mamma mia 😀

She is pretty tall actually, at least 177cm. Very often wears very high heels as well! Often much taller than the people she is meeting or greeting. - Grace

    4. Miu Miu Shoes have an extensive range of designer shoes, mainly for the younger fashion group.
Some of their designs can be called “provocative”
Not much in their range for older women.
Part of the Italian Prada Group, They say in their advertising blurb that 80% of their shoes are manufactured in Italy and/or Turkey with the remaining 20% made in other countries (China?).
Plenty of photos of their work if you do a bit of surfing on the net.
p.s. You’ll need about €1.000 in your purse to buy the average product in their shoe range.
      Happy shopping. 😁

She's wearing an older dress, last seen in 2015. The color is drab, it's ill fitting and wrinkled, too short. It should have stayed in the closet. Along with the weird shoes.

Her hair looks good, the dress is wrinkly and oddly constructed and her shoes are tacky.

Paloma.
