On August 22, 2024, Denmark's King Frederik and Queen Mary held a reception for invited guests on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog in Vejle Harbour. Their four-day 2024 summer tour, during which they visited the municipalities of Bornholm, Ærø, Assens, and Vejle, has come to an end. The royal couple concluded their tour with a farewell event at Vejle Harbour. The Royal Yacht Dannebrog serves as the official and private residence for the King and other members of the Royal Family during their summer cruises.

    I was wondering if the weather has turned chilly today as the other pictures appear to showy overcast skies. Now seeing Queen Mary put a wrap around her head perhaps it was chilly and starting to drizzle. As for the dress for the evening event--it is gorgeous! I love the floral pattern--with the bright colors of the flowers on the white dress. Mary looks beautiful!

    Queen Mary is metamorphosing the Royal Yacht Dannebrog into a floating, international showroom for fashion designers.
    What a wonderful background.
    So far we’ve seen French, New York and Indian designers. Perhaps others I’ve missed but for sure,there'll be others to join the list. .

      I am not a fan of these drawn in heavy full eyebrows. I don't see this trend enhancing a persons face, your eyes are drawn to them rather than to a person eyes or face.

      Her make-up is not very different from the one the Princess of Wales usually has. Thicker eyebrows have been fashion since a couple of years. I've read that the fashion for eye-make-up will change next season into thinner eyebrows again.

      Yes he’s retained his boyish looks. And, perhaps, some of his boyish character.
      But with Queen Mary’s examples, he’s going to mellow into a magnificent King.😀

    Mary is such a beautiful woman. Not sure why she feels the need to “enhance” her face with heavy makeup. If you look at the photos before she became queen, she looks better, more natural and less overdone.

    I may be the only one who doesn’t particularly like this dress. I find a little too cute and saccharine.

    At first glance I thought it was a rewear of her Vilshenko dress.Similar colors and pattern.
    The Saloni dress is just as beautiful and flattering. I wonder what color shoes she opted for?
