Japanese Crown Prince Akishino, his wife Crown Princess Kiko, and their eldest son, Prince Hisahito, paid a two-day visit to Gifu Prefecture. On July 31, the Crown Prince Family attended the opening ceremony of the 48th National High School Cultural Festival at Nagaragawa International Conference Center in Gifu City. On August 1, the Crown Prince Family visited the Gifu Prefectural Museum of Art and the Gifu Prefectural Government Building in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture.

ReplyDeleteI am surprised that they all are so pale. I am pale too but with a pink undertone. Because of my very sensible skin which does not support much sunshine, I prefer the shadow. But these young girls with their white legs look like they never come out in the daylight. Princess Kiko herself is very pale too.
ReplyDeleteI still can’t comprehend how the lovely daughters of the emperor cannot be in the line of succession. I fully admire tradition, but not in areas where it diminishes one’s value to the country based on gender. All human beings are equal and should be treated as such. Hopefully some day that will sink in and this rule will be abolished.
