The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are making a four-day visit to Colombia at the invitation of Colombian Vice President, Francia Márquez. The Duke and Duchess started the second day of their tour by visiting the Colegio La Giralda, a local public school in the Las Cruces neighborhood of the Santa Fe district of Bogota. During their tour, the Duke and Duchess observed several classrooms.

    1. Hello chère Achard62 (tulipe)
Found the following information on the jewellery worn by Duchess Meghan on her first day visit to Colombia. It said ….
"Duchess Meghan sported her beloved gold Tank Française watch by Cartier and the same brand's yellow gold Love bracelet, while she also donned the late Princess of Wales's butterfly earrings, likely given to her by Prince Harry.
Princess Diana wore on many occasions a gold Tank Française watch. Perhaps it was also a gift given by Prince Harry to his wife ."

It's OK not to like them. Harry at the age of 40 has a right to choose who he wants to communicate with not random strangers.

The only thing they could do is express their sorry and feelings by e-mail as well to King Charles as to Princess Catherine, which they did. If you are not allowed to see your father when the news came that he was ill, what would you think. The press and media in the UK always tell the opposite because that's what people apparently belief and what influences the selling of the news.

The video was the proof. It has been on the internet and on the news channels. The car followed by a camera from the Air-port until the residence where King Charles stayed at that time. Prince Harry stepped out and stayed between 20 and 40 minutes inside. After that he came out again stepped into the car and drove away. The king and Camilla left shortly after him and took an helicopter to fly to another royal residence where he went for resting. There has been a statement afterwards that those responsable for the king's health (like doctors and nurses) recommended him not to speak to Prince Harry because it would be too exciting and not good for his health condition.

The first outfit, the Loro Piano blazer (a rewear) and black cropped pants, are classic Meghan style. This outfit looks pulled together, comfortable and effortless. The color of the blazer looks good on her and I like it paired with the black trousers. She accessorized with Diana's butterfly earrings. This is a link to a full picture of the outfit: https://www.harpersbazaar.com/celebrity/latest/a61878667/meghan-markle-business-casual-blazer-colombia-day-2/
The second outfit features another Columbian designer, Juan de Dios. I like the way she has dressed down the skirt with a button down blouse. It has a more casual feel and is in keeping with her own style. The pattern is in green, adding a little color to the outfit. From their website: JUAN DE DIOS was created by the love for nature and beauty found within Latin America, specially the pacific Colombian bay called ‘‘Playa Juan De Dios’’. Their Mission Statement is "To represent Latin American design across the globe; to exemplify effortless sophistication; to blend Colombia’s artisanal heritage with versatility, fine quality, innovation and environmentally friendly practices." When I think of Columbia, I don't think of fashion, so I appreciate being introduced to new brands and thinking of Columbia from another perspective. We could see a few more local fashion designers before their trip ends.
Lastly, I am struck by the passion Harry has for disabled/wounded vets every time I see it. He lights up just being in their presence. He honors these vets in a way so many people don't. I am happy to see the Invictus Games continue to grow.

You said “When I think of Columbia, I don't think of fashion, so I appreciate being introduced to new brands and thinking of Columbia from another perspective.”
      I agree.
I think we focus too much on fashion/design via Paris, New York, London etc.
It’s partly thanks to these royal ladies and their work/travels that we get to see the excellent talent and work of designers in other parts of the world.
For example, I think of Ukraine where we have had one or two examples by highly talented designers in the last year or so.
I’m anxious to see what Queen Maxima has in her shopping basket from Greek designers when she comes back from holidays.
OH! NewMyRoyals plays an important role also. Thanks Helen.

Stop this. They do not take the opportunity to draw the attention on themselves now that Catherine is ill. The work they do has nothing to do with the BRF. It is their own private decision. They are their on invitation of the vice president of Columbia.
William and Catherine do not want their wishes for her health to be soon better from the beginning. At least that is what the newspapers tell us. Be sure the entourage of the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales will do everything to prevent that compassion and well wishing from Harry and Meghan reach both of them.

In most of the photos posted here there are some areas around her color on her shoulders that don’t lay flat. And the arm seams are a little off. But I love her minimalist collection of jewelry. She has always done that very well.

Meghan has always dressed in a much more stylish fashion than any member of the BRF. Even with the constant assistance of a stylist, the Princess of Wales’ never -ending parade of coat-dresses and flying-saucer hats was predictable and fussy. In that family, money most assuredly can’t buy style.
