Queen Mary of Denmark is back in France to follow the Olympics. In the stands, Queen Mary, along with her friends Malou Skeel and Helle Trolle, cheered on Daniel Bachmann Andersen as he warmed up for his qualification round at the Olympic dressage event in Versailles. Then, Queen Mary watched the women's handball match between Denmark and Sweden. Later, Queen Mary visited the Versailles Equestrian Stadium to cheer for Danish Olympic dressage horse rider Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour.

Read somewhere that the King and Queen of Sweden will show up later. But none of the younger generation which I think is strange, would have been good support for the actives. C

There is make-up with a sun factor. Or you wear first a sun blocker on your face followed by mineral powder which absorbs the sweat. If you wear sun glasses most of the time a waterproof mascara will do. There is also colorless lipstick with a sun factor to protect your lips in the sun, which is very important. Burned lips are very painful.

I love the hats. Very wise ladies to wear a hat when it is that hot weather. I remember when I went almost every year during summer holiday to the south of Europe, I had to wear a hat against the sun during the day. If I didn't, I had headaches that became heavier during the evening.

  5. Not too sure about the photos. They seem to be covering two events.
Nice to see Queen Mary in a light summery dress with hand fans as an accessory.
Hope she is having fun enjoying a ‘girl’s day out’.
Temperature 32° celsius in Paris today.
Hope they took advantage of the Danish “eye candy”, that is, the handsome cavalier, Daniel Bachmann Andersen.

    2. hello Anon 05:54. I can confirm that I read it before I put pen to paper.
But I'm a bit confused about the change of outfits for events on the same day.
But let's not worry about it as I 've got a reputation for being a bit thick. 🤔

It looks like you are often revealing things about yourself we cannot see. I am sure you are a friendly person with lots of humour, but you must not tell everything about yourself. Do you think the other bloggers are perfect ?
About the fact that the royals change outfits several times on the same day. I think the weather conditions have been so hot last week that they probably tried other outfits to fight the heat. During the evening there are competitions too. Another reason to change your dress and they change probably before diner too, which is a habit among royalty and nobility.

Lots of different outfits for Mary. I like the first blue chambray dress (at least I think it looks like chambray). She wears her hat well in all instances, and she does casual dressing very well. Smart and simple.

The best look is the red blazer with trousers. The long dresses with those sandals are not chic.

That is what I said only yesterday : "Many people on this blog do not like young and trendy outfits". It is a sports reunion remember. Beside it is callled sporty chic or bohemian chic or whatever..... she must not be dressed formally. In any case I prefer sandals with a long dress than trainers, but if it is necessary to wear trainers for safety, you must wear trainers.

So what ? What I find more disturbing is the hugh coming and going from the royals. One day in Palma de Mallorca for the boat races the other day again at the OG and in the evening again in Mallorca for a diner in a restaurant with the family. How many fuel has been spend ?
Or when you have a villa in France, how do you do it ? Flying by helicopter to Paris or with TGV ? TGV is the best solution for the climate crisis. Not to speak about all the sport celebrities who are not staying in the Olympic villages, but in hotels in the neighborhood of Paris. A lot of car traffic I suppose.
