Suzannah dresses usually aren’t my favorites, but this one looks quite nice on Camilla. I like the style and pattern on her and for this outdoor event.

Sorry, I disagree. I think the pattern is too fussy. Very appropriate hat, though

I love this outfit on QC. The dress fits her very well and the print and colours look modern and fresh. The hat is great too - an interesting shape without a lot of fussy embellishments. I think sometimes she wears clothes that have a slightly older, dowdier vibe, so this look is a welcome change! (V.M.)

Love this dress on Queen Camilla--I usually am not a fan of big print florals but this print is beautiful. I also love the pockets!

I love Camilla's look today! Sophisticated summer, one might call it. The dress is light and floaty with a watermark print that says 'Summer' without screaming it (i.e. no florals and no rainbow of colours), and her hat is her style to a 'T', but in a lovely light coloured straw. Perfect.

I like the style and pattern of the Queen’s dress. It fits her well. AND, it has a belt and buttons. Two definite improvements. But the handbag is a mismatch and looks like it’s going to a casual picnic. Better to have chosen a more fashionable purse or handbag.

Andrew Parker Bowls and his Camilla reunited. What does the palace want to tell?

What does the palace want to tell, you ask? Not much at all that we don't already know. He has always been a close family friend of the Windsors and still is, attending many functions with them, sometimes in their private box when they use it. He briefly dated Anne before Camilla and is still one of Anne's close friends.

    3. The Palace doesn’t have to tell us anything, the gutter press keeps us informed.
They (the gutter press) told us last week in a sensational “breaking news” announcement that King Charles has taken Camilla’s sister off the payroll.
Camilla’s ex has kept a foot in both camps : good luck to him.
It was said that Wallis Simpson’s ex was well looked after for the divorce and after.
You know, I’m available to be “the other woman” in a divorce where there’s lots of money involved. 😁

  16. Well chosen ensemble for a summer’s day at the races.
    Camilla wears the dress well.
For me, Ascot is My Fair Lady and Audrey Hepburn with that enormous hat.
I think the film won about 8 Oscars, one of them being for costume design.
If my memory is good, I think it was Cecil Beaton. who was responsible for the costumes.
But I’m giving my age away as the film was make about 60 years ago. 😣

I don't like Camilla's dress. Another brand Suzannah (like Erdem, ME +EM,,...), which always make dresses that are looking too country-ish, too house wife, not elegant, whether it is Q. Camilla or Duchess Sophie who is wearing it. The accessories are making it worse. It is a dress that older women are wearing to do their shopping at the local market or super market. Recently (I don't know on which occasion) Q. Camilla wore a white silk dress with a pleated skirt, a plain bodice and long sleeves. If I remember correctly the waistline was lower than her own. This was a good style for the queen. I could imagine her in this dress style in another color than white. Camilla should avoid dresses with a print, plain dresses are much better for her. Look at Brigitte Macron, she never wear clothes with a print and she is not exactly young anymore, but always dressed chic and looking much younger than her real age.

    1. @ Anon 21:03 But on the other hand, for women of a certain age, fabrics with busy prints, flowers etc. can camouflage or detract from other problems. As the great American designer Iris Apfel said “overdose yourself with jewellery and they won’t notice your wrinkles”.

I generally do not follow the advice of people like Iris Apfel but rather advices from Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, etc...

It was Iris Appfel who put the “Z” into Zany.
Fashion, like some other things, needs a bit of fresh air from time to time to liven it up
But I must say that her (Iris’s) fresh air was often more like a tornado.
