Very pretty skirt, but the pink blouse doesn´t go with it. Even though pink is one of the colours in the skirt, the overall colour is orange-y brown, and a mismatch with the pink. I would have chosen a plain white blouse in the same style (and tucked it in better).
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Vanessa.
DeleteA nice white blouse would have improved the overall appearance of this outfit.
Yes Vanessa, indeed
DeleteWhat a rude comment
DeleteWow she looks great!! One of her best looks! I am a little unsure though that the floorlong skirt was the best choice for daytime appointment. Still great from Steph!!
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought at first about day vs. evening wear, but apparently this was an evening event in an area where the sun doesn’t set until very late (close to 10 pm).
DeleteWow, fantastic! She looks wonderful from head to toe - hair, make up, clothes. And that lovely smile:)
ReplyDeleteA.
Love the skirt, beautiful, but some how the style of the blouse doesn’t enchance the total look. Not sure if it’s the short sleeves, loose fitting or just not tucked in proper. The colour looks lovely on her just needs a touch of lipstick.
ReplyDeleteI think HGD Stephanie looks great here. I'm not a huge fan of her skirt but I love the spring colors.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty Stephanie looks in this shade of pink! I really like this blouse on her. Until I saw the full-length picture of her outfit I was going to say how much I liked it. But...something is off. I think it might be sleeve length or the fact that blouse isn't tucked in neatly to the waistband. She looks lovely here.

This is a lovely summer look. Pink (not orange) is a good color for her. And her happiness and beautiful smile are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of Stéphanie's ensemble, to be honest; the top is shapeless, and the skirt seems to big, but it's just my impression, others will disagree. She has a lovely figure and can wear more formfitting and structured garments, but perhaps that's just not, what she wants. It's certainly a summery and cheerful colour palette. But she is a lovely lady, and she has the sweetest smile I've ever seen. She's a ray of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteYes it seems unusual. In her attire she usually has impeccable taste. You’re right, her smile is lovely!
DeleteThe top is very pretty but I would shorten the skirt to midi length for this event. Nonetheless HDGS looks very happy and engaged with the group. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI would have shortened the skirt too, but it's still pretty imo
DeleteYes I agree on a shorter skirt
DeleteThe skirt is an interesting colour and texture. The blouse is not the best choice with the skirt, another colour would have been better.
ReplyDeleteNatascha
Either the blouse doesn’t go with the skirt or the skirt doesn’t go with the blouse.
DeleteI’d keep the skirt and go back to the drawing board for the blouse.
I really like this outfit on her, colours and cut are very flattering. Also like her hair loose, which is tricky. She's always glowing with happiness, she seems such a nice and happy person to meet.

Not the best look. But she like it and that is the only thing important. css
ReplyDeleteOh, I love everything about this elegant summer look! Good job HGD -Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteLovely from waist up : flattering colour and cut of the blouse, natural hairstyle and makeup. From waist down: The skirt is inappropriate and ugly: too shiny, wrong colour match , too much volume and length .
ReplyDeleteShe looks very happy and relaxed .
The skirt is pretty and feminine, but the top doesn't work in well with the skirt.
ReplyDeleteDès la première photo, j'ai dit oui à l'élégance de Stéphanie associant le chemisier rose aux couleurs estivales de la jupe qui serait plus à son avantage en laissant voir ses chaussures !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look for a beautiful Princess.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed,? Photo N°2 and N°4 show the beautiful (and famous) arlésiennes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful history and tradition behind these women, the Arlésiennes.
I understand that there are some flowers in her skirt the same colour as her blouse. So, that would be matching, of course. However, looking at the whole outfit from a distance the light pink flowers do vanish and are swallowed whole by the rest of the print. That makes the pink blouse look mismatched, indeed. Pity. Could have been so good otherwise. Both pieces are beautiful but do not work harmoniously together in this case.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a peach/pink salmon color for the blouse would have match the skirt better. The skirt on itself is too long. A midi skirt would have been better. When I look at the last picture of the whole group, HGD Stéphanie is dressed the best.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Steéphanie never wears make-up?
ReplyDeleteWho says she doesn't ? There is make-up that is looking very natural. Not every woman likes dark make-up. If you click on the pictures to make them bigger you'll find out that she used blush on her cheeks and a shiny pale lipstick.
DeleteBeautiful woman, please tuck in the blouse, would have made a world of difference. Becca
ReplyDeleteHorrible.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely outfit on the hereditary grand duchess. Her hair looks beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteT
Stephanie and Maxima, as long as they smile, all is forgiven.
ReplyDeleteAnd all those royal ladies with skirts/dresses too long?
DeleteCan their sin be forgiven?
