The museum hosts a collection of tools and domestic items collected during 1902–1922, an inventory from the old Church with the original altarpiece dated to approximately 1650, and paintings from the 1790s. In the afternoon, the King and Queen visited KTI Tech College Greenland and met with local residents at the Sports Hall in Sisimiut.

I have waited the whole trip for pictures in these beautiful local garments. Workmanship, colours, wow. I see Josephine is wearing one of her moms coats,
    looks good on her.

Mary looks great in the Greenlandic National dress. Also, what a cute little baby and she don't even know a Queen is holding her. css

Queen Mary looks beautiful in her traditional Greenlandic attire! Meanwhile, I think Josephine has gone into Mom's closet again--I recognize that navy windowpane coat. She looks beautiful and quite elegant in her gray trousers with the coat. I also really like Mary's other outfit--she is doing a marvelous job of mixing multiple layers to stay warm as well as look chic. Also--King Frederik and Vincent look quite handsome. Frederik's traditional attire looks great on him while Vincent looks so grown-up in his business casual clothes.

You do realise that North America is a continent and not a country? Geographically Greenland IS located in North America.

Anon 16:07 is correct. Greenland *is located* in the region/area/continent called North America, irrespective of whom it belongs to, or is a part of.
According to The National Geographic Society:
"Today, North America is home to the citizens of Canada, the United States, Greenland, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the island countries and territories of the Caribbean Sea and western North Atlantic. - Oct 19, 2023"

Greenland is part of the North American continent, also a Dannish overseas territory just like UK, France and USA have overseas territories in other continents.

From a geographical point of view Greenland is part of the North America continent, politically it is part of Europe

    7. Anon at 16:07, you have done your geography homework ;) You are quite right, Greenland belongs to Denmark but is geographically located in North America. This may be difficult for some to understand. And Greenland is not located at the North Pole, but at the Arctic Circle.

Wonderful pics of a very good looking family. I love the outfit on Mary. I wished Princess Ivalo (Josephine) and Prince Minik (Vincent) wore traditional Greenlandic robes too.
For those who don't know, Frederik, and later on Mary, have always loved Greenland. They gave their twins Greenlandic middle names.

    1. Yes, Greenland belongs to Denmark but it has it's own self-government with the prime minister Egede. But Frederick is their king.

I love the visits to Greenland,as we get to see their national dress in it’s beautiful entirety.Mary wears it well.
Since Mary has grown her hair,I do a double take as it reminds of Catherine.Especially when they’re in cooing distance of a cute baby!
Lovely that the twins took the trip with their parents.Josephine looks so much like her mom at that age.

    1. I think that King Frederik and Queen Mary jump at any occasion whatsoever to have time with their kids.
Plus I think it’s nice for the people in Greenland to see the young prince and princess.
