King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the Senedd to mark 25 years of Welsh devolution. Once inside the Senedd chamber, the King and Queen met with party and parliamentary leaders as Mared Pugh-Evans, who has been appointed the King's harpist, played for them - her first performance in her new position. In his last visit to the Senedd, the King - formerly the Prince of Wales for 64 years - gave his first address in Welsh as Monarch.
On July 11, Queen Camilla visited Lacock Church of England Primary School in Lacock, near Chippenham, to mark its 200th anniversary. During the visit, the Queen was shown around the school by headteacher Caroline Jackson and took part in lessons on poetry, art, and music.

DeleteThe pale pink dress and straw hat is wonderful on Camilla. Both are so typical of her style, which she does best. I also like the green dress. The flow of the skirt and the length are perfect. I just wish that she hadn't worn that particular green cardi with it. A white one - or a white summer blazer/jacket - would have been better.

Yes I've noticed it that King Charles is wearing regularly a new suit lately. It was time. His old suits became very ill fitting and used.
DeleteI suspect he may have lost some weight during his cancer treatment and Queen Camilla may have managed to persuade her famously frugal spouse that he actually needs to get some new clothes!

J'aime bien ces deux robes mais je préfère quand même la verte très fluide au très joli drapé ; j'aurais peut-être remplacé le cardigan vert par du blanc ?! Le roi est élégant dans ce costume , il me semble que sa silhouette s'est étoffée !

The only things I like in Queen Camilla's outfit are the handbag of Dior and the pink of her dress. The hat falls almost over her eyes.
ReplyDeleteI also think it is the first time I see the queen with a cardigan. I think she made a good choice with the green one. Someone must have told her that it is fashion to mix several shades of the same color. Anyway, so much better than a white cardigan (so passé).
