Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg, accompanied by Prince François, visited Séniorie St Joseph in Petange. Séniorie St Joseph Pétange is a care home with small living units designed for people suffering from disorientation or dementia-related disorders. The visit was part of the Grand Ducal family's tour of accommodation facilities for the elderly in Luxembourg.
Max Mara Oblio Printed Maxi Dress
A pretty Summery dress on Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteSome will comment that it is too long but if you look at the length on the model it is supposed to be a maxi rather than midi dress.
In my view, a long dress is not the best choice for Stephanie, a so-called "midi" would be better. Print is ok, as well as hair styling and smiiile, of course.
DeleteThey really do make the most gorgeous babies. The brothers are as cute as each other.
ReplyDeleteI love how the young prince is so relaxed in the company of his elders.
Stephanie wears motherhood far better than any designer outfit. She’s glowing,
Lowri.
Don’t like the dress on the model at all - but the colour/pattern really suits Stephanie and it’s such a relaxed summer vibe to wear a long relaxed dress and flat shoes. Apt for the context and how lovely she and her husband are taking their kids to various different care homes - Grace
ReplyDeleteSo much joy this little cutie boy is giving to these elderly so lovely to see 🧸❤️
ReplyDeleteIt is pure joy to see this Family interact with the elderly in this way! Fashion wise, I like the colors of Stephanie’s dress on her but not the style.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, summery and appropriate. I think the empire silhouette is nearly always flattering to Stephanie. (And oh my gosh, how glad I am that she is not wearing the unspeakably ugly footwear featured on the model!)
ReplyDeleteFrancois is adorable! I love that Guillaume and Stephanie take their children with them on these visits. Everyone looks overjoyed to see the cute babies, and it seems very respectful to me to introduce their babies to some of Luxembourg’s most senior residents. Well done.

I don’t think Stéphanie and Guillaume can bear to be apart from those beautiful boys for very long. Can’t blame them any!
DeleteI don't like the dress. Too long, the shoes don't match. It is a good dress to relax at home. Makes me think a bit of a night gown. There must be a big number of homes for the elderly in the G.D. of Luxemburg. How many homes they visit each year ? Or maybe they visit some of them twice a year. Not that it is not a good initiative, but I think it is the only country in which the homes for the elderly receive so many visits from the king and queen or in this case, from the future duke and duchess.
ReplyDeleteNice colours on Stephanie. Seems that the style in Europe has gone back to more maxi dresses. I like that she wears what is comfortable amongst the people she is visiting.
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, the style in Europe is shorter again, but at home you can wear as much long dresses as you want.
DeletePretty maxi dress for Stephanie. She looks good here. If I could make one change I would have her wear a pair of sandals or espadrilles. I know that's being rather picky when she's looking so good but I just don't like the shoes even though they match a color in the dress. But the real star here is adorable little Francois! What a precious little boy!

I like this dress and the colours are so much better on GD Stephanie than the ones she wore last week.
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, for today's outing. The little one is the cutest. css
ReplyDeleteI like her dress, but really I am so done with the endless stream of pictures `look how cute our children are`. Yes, they are very cute and Stephanie has a lovely smile, but there are a lot more meaningful things to do in life than smiling and being cute.

Such as? Luxembourg is a tiny and prosperous country with an apparently high number of citizens in elder homes. Many of them might be lonely. What could be more useful than trying to brighten their lives? Do tell🙄-Jacqueline
Delete13:44 I agree.
DeleteI am saddened by this comment. I posted regularly until my husband died 18 months ago as many things took a back seat after that. I have followed the blog and, as many have commented, everyone seems to have different agenda regarding this lovely place to discuss fashion. Re this comment _the children do not go on these visits so that everyone can say how lovely they are as their mother. It is a difficult time for the world and anything positive is a boost to us all meanwhile I really like this dress from maxmara an it is a lovely colour way.
ReplyDeleteI think GD Stephanie looks lovely. The people they went to visit were probably thrilled to see a little one. Compared to other royals, they take their children out and about on visits more often. They get to raise their family in their way, not to the expectations or "rules" other royals follow. I often think that events would be easier if they didn't take the kids along, but, YOU DO YOU, BOO!
ReplyDeleteStephanie looks pretty in this dress. The color and pattern are attractive of the fabric. Little one is adorable.
