On July 3, 2024, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended a celebration for the 900th anniversary of the City of Edinburgh held at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. In 1124, King David I introduced a new system of local government in Scotland by creating royal burghs as part of his efforts to reform the nation’s economic and political structures. Edinburgh was one of his first royal burghs.
it was very windy, not good for the hair. photo 3 Camilla is looking at Charles like- you should not drink that with your medication.
ReplyDeleteI know that look.....
DeleteJ'adore la tenue de Camilla dans cette couleur vert anis très pâle ; elle a su choisir une des deux broches chardon dans l'écrin royal !
ReplyDeleteMust be a blustery, rainy day! Since Queen Camilla usually wears hats to occasions like this I'm guessing she decided to leave the hat at home due to the weather. I like her pale green coat dress--the edging is beautiful. She's lucky to have a hairstyle that looks good even on a windy day--I envy her that. KCIII looks dapper in his kilt although it appears a bit long (perhaps due to his weight loss since becoming ill). While I wouldn't want that dram of whiskey I'd love a slice of that cake!

I like this coat even though the style is the same. The sleeves and trim are nice. Having a wee dram what fun.
ReplyDeleteSuper look for Camilla. I love the brooch. css
ReplyDeleteLovely color on Camilla. Charles is smart, he probably discussed with his doctors the social demands and behind the scenes there is probably a valet or nurse who will be on the lookout for side effects and knows what to do. Christine
ReplyDeleteDear Christine, you are right. He most probably has 24/24 and 7/7 medical assistance on standby and discreetly mixed in the crowd.
DeleteThe Queen looks lovely, the pearl choker, is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSame boring style as all her other clothes. Step it up in the fashion stakes! Becca
