Everyone looks very dapper. QM's shoes look a bit tight on her, and I notice that KP seems to favor light-colored suits more so than other European royals with the possible exception of Prince Albert of Monaco (that's not a critique, just an observation - he's looking quite dapper too). S.M.

During summer and for this occasion King Philippe likes to wear a light-colored suit and also to visit African or other hot countries.

      @ S.M.
Queen Mathilde's feet are swollen she is walking since this morning on high heels and despite of the clouds the weather is still warm. I've noticed she regularly has troubles with that.

Love all their outfits but most of all the family- harmony they show!

Love the green dress with ginko leaves and the belt is good with it. The Orange Maje dress is good for a young woman. This suits her better than the floral she wore earlier in the day.

I agree. The green dress is pretty on Q.Mathilde, and the orange dress is much better for P.Elionore than the DvF dress. I didn't like the latter on her at all. The style wasn't right for her.

How wonderful to a more relaxed and less formal look from the Belgian royals! Eleonore and Elisabeth look very pretty in their daytime looks. I really like Eleonore's dress. I really love Queen Mathilde's dress! It is so pretty and flatters her so much--this style is suits her. I do feel for her as her feet are so swollen--perhaps she could swap to wedges or something more supportive and less constricting. One issue--I wish she had used some tape on her belt so it would lie flat but that's minor. For the evening--again the 2 princesses look very pretty in their maxi dresses. I like Elisabeth's choice best this time and think it would look just as pretty on her younger sister if they ever share clothes. Oh my...I wish Mathilde had chose to wear only the top or the bottom and pair her choice with a solid. The two very patterned pieces are just too much. The last photo shows a lovely, relaxed, and happy family--a very close, loving, and united family too.

I think sharing clothes between the two princesses must not be easy, Princess Eléonore being taller than CP Elisabeth. CP Elisabeth is borrowing regularly things which belong to Queen Mathilde. Examples today were the diamond earrings she wore during the Te Deum and her clutch by Fabienne Delvigne the designer of her headband. Until now I never noticed that Princess Eléonore is borrowing something from her mother. When she was younger and shorter, she wore more than once a dress that was worn first by her sister CP Elisabeth. When Princess Eléonore will be older she might borrow jewelry and handbags from her mother too.

I followed the concert on TV. It was very beautiful. Not only the modern music but also the light show on the Arcades of the Cinquantenaire (Jubelpark). I didn't saw the fire work because the program could not be entirely registered by my television post.

  9. The royal family all look lovely. The Princes look very dapper in their outfits, well groomed and attired. The King and Queen look exceptionally lovely.
