Mathilde looks very nice in the burnt orange suit and the fit is right on. Her white pantsuit looks flowy and comfortable. She is such a lovely woman.

OK, trousers and/or jumpsuits are the order of the day for this dinner! I really like both of Queen Mathilde's outfits today. Her trouser suit fits beautifully and, while I don't the color personally, she is able to carry off this shade of orange. The white evening outfit is beautiful and she looks smashing! The sheer overlay makes this outfit--it is so elegant. More Dries Van Notes please, Mathilde!

I love to think that the royal ladies have a whatsapp-chat-group and decided to all wear jumpsuits to give the press and blogs something fun ;-D
Kidding aside: I fully agree on the fact that both outfits are absolutely stunning on her!

  3. Bel ensemble porté par RM mais un peu plus de longueur sur le devant eut été plus flatteur selon moi.

  4. Very nice suit and earrings.

I'm puzzled by the jumpsuit. Maybe the look would be better without the sheer layer and high neck? Maybe a coordinating sleeveless duster?

  5. All roads lead to Paris- exciting!
Queen Mathlide's dinner outfit is the best, casual and bright. i thought Charlene's was too dark for the olympics.
Cant wait to see the Dutch, Norway and Swedish Royals

I, too, was wondering about those three royal houses. I hope they make an appearance. (Anyone betting on more jumpsuits???, lol)

  9. Son ensemble orange est très bien combiné avec le haut blanc. J'aime bien quand la reine nous fait partager le choix de ses nouvelles boucles d'oreilles - Pas mal du tout son sac à mains !

  10. The orange pantsuit looks divine. It fits well, the design looks good. Very elegant. The white ensemble suits her, very feminine.

  11. The orange pant suit looks good. The white outfit is beautiful but I don´t think it fits Mathilde, especially in the mid section. Or, in other words: if this is the fit, I find it unflattering and I don´t like it.

Mathilde’s orange suit looks great on her. I don’t care for the mock turtleneck style on her white outfit. The King’s double breasted jacket looks very ill-fitting. I wonder if he spilled on his and had to borrow someone’s last minute.

      @ Royal Watcher.
Nope it is his own jacket which he seems to like. Unfortunately it became too tight. It is time he is buying a new one because this one is too tight on the stomach. Maybe King Philippe should step away from this double breasted style. When he is wearing a single breasted one like for the dinner, one can see that it fits better.

Lovely pale pink outfit on Mathilde. So many of photos of the Belgian Monarchs just give the impression of the quiet confidence of success; things are turning out well for their family (and for Belgium), serenity. Christine

Paloma.

Orange outfit, earrings way too large and tacky. White pantsuit, perfection. jan
