On June 27, 2024, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa hosted the 2nd garden party of 2024 at Berg Castle in Colmar-Berg. Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, Prince Louis, and some 300 representatives of the political, diplomatic, administrative, economic, and civil society worlds attended the garden party. Colmar-Berg is the site of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg's principal residence, Berg Castle.

I wonder if they agreed to both wear bright colors and maybe thought the floral pattern color on Stephanie’s dress coordinated with M-T’s dress. Or maybe they don’t care about coordinating? It’s a lot of color for sure.

DeleteThe garden parties at the castle in Colmar-Berg are always in a relaxed atmosphere. There is no specific dress code. And on top of that last Thursday the 27th was a very hot day.
Both dresses fit the bill for a garden party.

ReplyDeleteDreadful ill-fitting tight pink glob of a dress in MT accentuates her shortcomings. She once again demonstrates her horrible taste in clothes and continues to not have a clue how to work intelligently with her actual shape instead of her fantasy. Stephanie is also not at her best but at least her dress fits.

In my opinion only the Grand Duke Henri is dressed nicely, the two sons wear ill-fitted suits, not only today but regularly.
ReplyDeleteThe Ladies don't seem to know or care about their body shape and what works better for them. The Grand Duchess appears very preoccupied about her age being reflected in her face and fashion choices, and Stephanie has an angelical face, but you need more than that for a public life.

Maria Teresa’s dress is not the best one for her shape and neither is Stephanie’s.

ReplyDeleteLove the pink on GD but the fit is not working. As for PS, her dress ages her by at least 20 years. Both women are beautiful, but these outfits are not making the best of it.
ReplyDeleteOh my! The bright pink is a great color for MT but the dress is ill-fitting and does not flatter the GD at all. Princess Stephanie has a dress that could look good on her but the color--orange--is washing her out (orange is a very difficult color to wear for many people). She looks tired and her hairstyle looks haphazard. Given she is the mother of 2 young children I can understand why she could look tired. Both ladies have many other beautiful outfits in their closets so hopefully these 2 choices will go right to the back and never be seen again.

ReplyDeleteI don't find the pink dress attractive. I don't feel the shape of this suits the GD at all. Stephanie's dress is not appealing or attractive either. The Grand Duke looks well attired and well groomed. He always looks well turned out.
