On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, accompanied by Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg, received members of the Magistrate's Court for an institutional dinner at Berg Castle (Château de Berg). The Magistrate's Court forms the first step in the judicial structure in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.

DeleteWow, I never dreamed I'd see the day when Stephanie wore a Natan outfit, but it actually looks quite nice on her. The loose style of the top as well as the wide trousers and bold tropical print and colours gives her a good silhouette. Wearing an updo was also a good idea but she could have chosen a more modern style..

That’s a very colorful outfit on Stephanie..not sure it suits her? The teal outfit of Maria Teresa is lovely except for the fringe on the bottom and sleeves.

ReplyDeleteDuchess Stephanie gets a lot of negative criticism about her wardrobe. Then, when she changes direction and goes a bit ‘edgy’ she gets criticised ???
DeleteShe’s lovely but she deserves a good stylist. It’s not because you change direction that the result is better. I think the main issue is that she could do with someone who understands how to dress her shape and gives her confidence. She is a beautiful and nice woman but - if she wishes so- she could look even more radiant, I think.

She often wears clothing more suitable for very tall thin women. In other words HGD Stephanie doesn't dress her body type. A good stylist would do wonders for her.
DeleteNo to the feathers on M-T’s top. I love Stephanie, but her whole outfit is a no. It looks like very large scarves sewn into a top and matching pants.

ReplyDeleteThis could have been a nice outfit on P Stephanie. The pants are good but the top seems too large, not as elegant as on the model. The dark part of the print is in an unfortunate position. Now it looks like a bib and is very dominating, taking your eye off her face.

DeleteI agree with you concerning the dark part of the print. The top is not too large and one must not forget that these models are very thin and they move in any position to do the photo shoot. At the end the best photo's are published. I think Princess Stéphanie should have done her hair differently. She looks better when her hair is loose, not too long and just had a brushing. After all these corrections, I think Stéphanie could have a great look.
Also, M-T’s very large ring (I think it’s a ring?) on her right hand is rather odd looking.

I’ve seen photos of the Grand Duchess wearing a ring on each finger.
There can be a lot of speculation about a person who does this.

@deadeggs - I think her ring itself looks odd in these pictures due to its large size and shape and color. I almost thought initially she had some sort of splint on her finger. Perhaps it is a very large stone of a type I am unfamiliar with.

I like the feathers on MTM…keeps the outfit young and modern and the color is beautiful. Stephanie, on the flip side, is aging herself with that outfit. It feels more appropriate to a warm weather vacation outfit than an official royal event, but I appreciate that she seems to be making more of an effort lately.

Oh no I sure hope PS does not embrace Natan as her go to designer. The outfit would of been okay in brighter colours. Maybe a touch of bright lipstick too.

ReplyDeleteGD MT looks good in this ensemble. Though I don't like feathers, the outfit looks quite okay and suits her. The color is gorgeous. Stephanie, looks okay, but the design of the fabric I don't like and the style of this outfit. Regardless she looks nice.

ReplyDeleteI quite like Maria Teresa's look this time. It has an interesting ombré effect, the feathers are in keeping with a look she likes without overtaking her, and the entire outfit looks to be cut for a petite frame. So often, she tries to go for this same type of feel and she ends up eating feathers or the sheer volume of fabric swallows her up. This is very restrained. The color is flattering as well.
