  1. Cette jupe imprimée fleurie déjà portée va toujours à Sophie mais avec un blazer de couleur blanche son allure serait plus estivale !

This is so interesting. Beautiful hair and make-up. But the clothing seems mis-matched. All lovely individually (except for the shoes), but not together. The floral skirt is amazing and has such potential, but is made a bit dowdy and wintery by the blazer, which, if paired differently (such as the photo at the bottom of another time the Duchess wore it as a complete pant suit), it looks quite smart. Even when she tried before to focus on the red color with a different blazer, it still didn't work, in my opinion. Hopefully, she can find a way to style this lovely skirt different throughout the warm weather season.

I tend to agree. I have never liked the idea of adding a random (usually higher end) blazer to a more casual dress or skirt and thinking you have suddenly elevated your outfit. It usually looks mismatched and doesn't really work.

Lovely skirt, nice jacket, just not together. Perhaps if the jacket were not double breasted and buttoned it would flow better with the skirt. Shoes I like and colour is good for where is is walking, though this neutral colour does not blend in with the outfit.

My sentiments exactly! Nice pieces worn separately, but the combination is totally off.

  4. She looks so nice here, very appropriate for the occasion. I love the navy blazer and the pretty floral skirt/dress. And the shoes are perfect for the terrain. She does such a good job for the Crown.

The proportions are not right here. The jacket is too long for her height and the skirt needs a much shorter top.

She is my favorite Royal - she is looking good in everything not everybody does.

  8. The Navy jacket is beautifully made, good quality. It does not blend well with the rest of this outfit. It looks out of place. The length of the jacket overwhelms the skirt. The skirt is too floral for the jacket. She does such great work, what an asset she is.

I prefer the navy jacket to the red one worn previously with this skirt but could the Duchess not have found some navy shoes to complete the outfit?

I’m reminded of how Queen Mary during her recent trip to Norway, matched up her Erdem skirt with a beautiful cream jacket.I would have liked that for Sophie. This jacket is too dark and too long for a skirt,it’s better suited to a trouser suit. Maybe even a coatigan would have been more fitting a choice.

Nice outfit. Small quibble. The shoes should have been navy to carry off the overall look.

I agree with you. Navy shoes would have been so nice with this outfit, but her chic jacket and flowy skirt make for a good look for Sophie.
