  1. Je préfère les lignes de la robe de Maxima qui lui apportent de l'élégance par rapport à celle du mannequin ; j'aime son sac à mains ainsi que ses magnifiques escarpins !

  2. wow! sometimes Maxima listens to advise; no over sized hat, decent earrings, well kept hair, appropriate dress for the occasion, overall a great professional look.

    2. Queen Max is saying to us …… look at me, “yes we can”.
When my neighbours put their house on the market, I’m going to send the details to Queen Max. Would love to have her as my neighbour.
Good for her also, as when she’s away, I could be her “doggy-sitter”.

The print is not my personal favorite. The stripper shoes (with clear plastic bits) looks trashy and do not match the bag. The hair is neatly tucked away, the smile is lovely.

Oh really! They are not "stripper shoes". Several queens have similar shoes. You don't have to like them for yourself, you don't have to understand the style or concept, or be up on current "clothing challenged" career fashions. You should have enough class to not insinuate that the attire of Maxima, Mathilde, Letizia, and any other royals I neglected to mention with similar footwear, are in anyway related to such professions. Your comment was meant to be cruel.

Anonymous4/6/24 03:32 Take a chill pill, you are not classy enough to follow the rules of this blog, ALWAYS leave a name, and not enough class to understand this is a blog, all opinions are valid, after all, it is the posters perspective, not yours. Allie

Allie, I am sure I have been here a lot longer than you have (if we are going by your name)...with a signature and without. "Class" is not linking a queen, in any shape or form, to a stripper. Taking your own advice and accepting that "all opinions are valid", you shouldn't be bothered by mine. Edwina's choice of words was offensive. Maxima is an easy target and with the usual subject of the attack (her hair) not worth the usual venom this time, her shoes were the next best thing. Others didn't like her shoes but weren't vulgar about it. Word choice matters. A little kindness goes a long way.

Another very nice dress back in circulation. With another pair of shoes this would have been a perfect look. Never liked the plastic and visible toes.

I have the same Natan shoes. Never wear them. So very uncomfortable. The plastic parts cuts in your skin

Dress and hair are OK, but I would definitely ditch the plastic shoes.

Thanks to, at last, her hair beautifully done, this seems a totally different dress with a becoming neckline.
    Quite good and sophisticated!

I liked this dress as much when Maxima wore it as I do now, despite the odd placement of the front pleat. Still, she wears the dress with style, and it looks good on her. I also like her accessories (yes, even the shoes with the clear acrylic panel) and her handbag, and her hair pulled back gives more focus to the dress. The overall look is modern and contemporary.
As always, I have lots of respect for the work she is doing.

Lily T, what do you care about the contents of the bag? How is that relevant?
You know she is the” Queen” if she needs to carry anything, I am sure it can be arranged.

Je n'aime que les boucles d'oreilles qui font penser à des cerises ! C'est de saison ! Je n'aime pas cette robe ni les chaussures. Paloma.

Just to look at the cut of the dress, it seems like it might be difficult to wear, but the knee length saves it and thr Queen looks fantastic. I love the accessories, including the shoes, and think the updo also makes the outfit even better.

  14. I don't like the plastic inserts at the side of the shoes, but I like the red small bag. The dress is okay, but I don't like the design of the fabric. She does wear this dress well though. Her up style hair looks great.

One of Queen Maxima's many re-wears in a row. I like this dress. Of course it was new in 2015 and has been made longer in the meantime. Her bag the "Brilliant" by Belgian fashion house Delvaux is not well kept. A valuable bag like this you fill up with silk paper or cloths before you store it in your ward robe. This bag is flat because it has been stored in the wrong way. It should look like on the last picture (with the name of the fashion house Delvaux 1829).
