On June 1, 2024, Queen Mathilde and Princess Eleonore attended the final and proclamation of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition 2024, at the Bozar concert Hall in Brussels. Ukrainian violinist Dmytro Udovychenko is the winner of the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition. Laureates' recitals will take place June 5 and 6 at Flagey, with a Laureates' concert June 10 at Bozar, and a Closing Concert on June 12 at Bozar.

A very proud mama. I really like the top of QM, the lines in the fabric just seems to flow. I am not a fan of halter dresses overall but the princess is young enough to make it look good. Nicely coordinated colours

Princess Eléonore is playing the violin herself. The Queen Elisabeth competition takes place under the high protection of Queen Mathilde who took this tradition over from Queen Paola, who took over from Queen Fabiola. etc... This year the competition was for violin, other years it was for piano or singing. Every year the subject changes.

Princess Eléonore is wearing the dress she wore last year on Belgium's National Day July 21, 2023 to attend the evening concert.

Eleonore is wearing a beautiful dress and she wears it well. Queen Marhilde´s top has great draiping but I am not so fond of lurex fabric.

Princess Elenore looks splendid, she is quite tall, major asset, she will wear clothes well. I don't like halter tops but she looks wonderful and it looks good on her. Her makeup is natural, very pretty young lady.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks fabulous, I love the top she is wearing, some interesting features. The pants fit well. I think she is wearing, the pale aquamarine pink stone, pretty earrings and looks nice with this outfit. Its great to see Mother and daughter out at this event.

DeleteThe earrings are made of kunzite framed with diamonds. She is also wearing a ring with a pink gemstone. The set has been bought in an auction in 2018.

DeleteComme je viens de l'expliquer à Ava Pittman, les boucles d'oreilles et probablement aussi la bague de la reine Mathilde sont fabriqués de de kunzite entourrés de diamants. Ces bijoux ont été achetés à Sotheby's ou à Christie's en 2018. Ils ont déjà été portés par la Princesse Elisabeth. J'ai vu que la princesse Eléonore porte également des pierres roses dans ses boucles d'oreilles, qui sont probablement de quartz rose. Je crois que j'ai vu la reine Mathilde avec ces boucles d'oreilles il y a longtemps.

Eleonore is the baby of the family. She has two brothers and one sister "Princess Elisabeth" who is Crown Princess is 23 years old.
Princess Eleonore is 16 years old.

DeleteI agree with you. There is also a way to remember about which Princess we are talking : Eléonore is the youngest child of Queen Mathilde and King Philippe. She writes her name like in French with an "accent aigue" on the 2nd "é". All the other Leonor, Eleonor, Eleonore are other princesses from other countries. Crown princess Elisabeth of Belgium writes her name with and "s" like her ancestor Queen Elisabeth, the great grandmother of King Philippe and not with a "z" like Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
