Queen Mary was present when the Royal House's white Kladruber horses were released in the meadows in North Zealand last week. For 40 years, it has been a tradition for the royal horses to spend their summer vacations on these fields near Karlebo in North Zealand.
It didn't take long for the freshly washed horses to get dirty as soon as they were let loose in the green. In the scenic area, the horses must have fun until they are brought back for washing and training in the Royal Stables at Christiansborg in August.

The queen really has great hair. That braid is three tims ticker than mine.
ReplyDeleteI am sure her hair is better quality than most Scandinavian fine hair (like my own). However, there is a possibility of her having had a little help with extensions.
DeleteIt’s like the horses knew wheee they were when they were let go onto the fields - magic! ❤️
ReplyDeleteOh, they know when they are on vacation!

ReplyDeleteQ. Mary looks so pretty and young here with her hair in a braid and her jaunty cap. She looks happy and I'm happy for her.
ReplyDeleteThe horses are beautiful and they certainly appreciate the meadow and the mud; thanks so much for sharing the video, just what my spirit needed, pure happiness and joy!! Best post ever.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary looks beautiful here in her country casual outfit--and she looks so happy watching the horses. The horses are certainly having fun--like kids on a playground at recess. They are beautiful animals and I love seeing them cavorting around in the fields. The video was wonderful!

Mary looks great as usual but either my glasses need an upgrade or there is a heavy filter on the pictures. Love how the horses also get a summer vacation!
ReplyDeleteNo filters but it are screenshots from the video and not photographs. I agree with your comments.

Poor Mary, it is so cold in Denmark!
ReplyDeleteThis lady looks good in everything!
ReplyDeleteVery nice in casual dress. css
ReplyDeleteNice country outfit but it must be cold to wear a turtleneck, coat and wool hat in June!
ReplyDeleteShe is not wearing a coat but a quilted vest. It's just a typical weather in the Northern countries, the same as in Great Britain. Some days are very hot (<> +30 degrees), some days are under +20 degrees. The wind can be really strong in Denmark because it's a flat country and the wind from the Atlantic Ocean blows from the west. Better so than dying from the heat.
DeleteShe looks happy and fabulous.
The Queen does casual well and this is no different. She looks fabulous. I love her sleeveless jacket, very warm.
ReplyDeleteQ M hair looks thicker these days!
ReplyDeleteBien belle Mary dans cette tenue adéquate par ce temps qui semble froid ; j'adore la tresse de ses cheveux !
ReplyDeleteLove the cap ... does anybody know the brand ... thank you...
ReplyDeleteA very happy Queen enjoying an outdoors pause.
ReplyDeleteThose horses are like young kids. They love messing around in mud and having fun.
