On the occasion of Mother's Day, Princess Charlene, Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross, visited the maternity ward of the Princess Grace Hospital Center (CHPG) in order to welcome new mothers and babies. This traditional visit was organized with the assistance of the Monegasque Red Cross and its volunteers.

I love this colour on Charlene but because she has a broad, muscular upper body, I don't think double breasted jackets generally suit her. This one looks OK because of it's tapered fit and her height and long legs.

C'est un joli geste cette visite qu'elle fait chaque année.

Ce costume rose lui va bien mais je trouve la veste assez stricte.
Sur la dernière photo c'est très étonnant de voir une femme médecin (ou infirmière) avec des talons dans un hôpital ! Etonnée aussi de voir leurs cheveux détachés. J'ai travaillé en maternité et nos cheveux devaient être attachés. Et quand on passe la journée debout sans jamais avoir le temps de s'asseoir on ne porte pas des talons ! Surtout que ça fait du bruit qui résonne dans les couloirs et qui dérange les patients.

Paloma, Cette personne est peut-être infirmière générale donc...administrative...elle ne doit plus arpenter les couloirs, elle est assise dans un bureau...!!!

ReplyDeleteI love this pantsuit. The jacket especially, nice length, buttons done up! perfect. The pants are a nice length. The color is beautiful and her top works in well. Love the color of her shoes. The pearl earrings are a lovely addition. I love her hair styled in this way, the soft fringe, and feathered lighter color in her hair. Very soft and natural looking. This was a splendid visit. The genuine look on her face, she had looking at the unborn's precious! A uplifting visit for the mums and the hospital. Well done Ma'am.
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful to see this woman, finding her self confidence and happiness again. I hope she never loses it. She reminds me of Princess Diana sometimes, especially in these photos.
