What a lovely photo, thanks for the link @anon at 14:33
DeleteWhat a sweet photo! Thanks for posting! I love PSophia’s dress and think the shoes are perfect for the visit. They look cute with the dress too. But I think the dress Would look better if it was hemmed a few inches and fit like on the model. Also, I think her hair would look darling in a high ponytail for this sporty, busy event. I would think those long tresses get in the way.
DeleteThose sport shoes seem to be too heavy with this dress. Wedges would've worked better.
ReplyDeleteOn a playground? Don’t agree, tennis shoes are highly appropriate for the occasion.
DeleteSneakers to dresses are fashion. This is how we all are dressed. She's
Deleteon a playground. Wedges would have ruined her ankles.
Fashion is not the same as goodlooking!
Delete9:44 no not according to you, to others on the other hand...guess there is also a lot that you think is top of the top that others despise, but if it's fashion it's fashion..and therefore we accept it.
Delete14.18. No we do not!
DeleteAnon 18.01, actually most of us do. But feel free to share your opinion.
DeleteI agree with Marina, but no doubt there are lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteI like the design of this dress, but I would have liked it more in a bright Summer color instead of a fabric that looks like a table cloth that had too much sunshine. The dress is too long too.
ReplyDeletePrince Julian is a lovely little boy. I like his yellow sweater.
Another great find. Lilly Jahilo dresses look so flattering on Sofia ❤ Although sporty footwear can be seen everywhere and they are less painful than high heels, however, not fan of the footwear - too heavy with the dress, imho.

Sofias dress is dull, the yellow colour on Julian is nice!
ReplyDeleteTrop craquant le prince Julian que j'aimerais bien voir plus souvent avec son magnifique regard !
ReplyDeleteThe dress is not doing her any favors with small print and length, she looks like she drowning in it. The heavy shoes don’t help either. The little kid is cute in the yellow sweater!
ReplyDelete"drowning" ? Yes I think she could have had the dress just in one size smaller.
DeleteQuel adorable enfant

What a cute little boy. His first assignment he worked it like a professional. I like Sofias dress. Not much color pop from sandals or bag. Julian is a cutie the yellow sweater looks very nice. css
ReplyDeleteThe model gives the dress a lovely simple elegance. Sofia unfortunately makes the dress look frumpy, though she had the right idea to wear sports shoes for an event like this. She could have chosen a different dress or outfit. However..if she was going for the 'busy mom' look, she hit the mark.
ReplyDeletePrince Julian is so cute! Seeing him enjoying this event outweighs any fashion looks at this event.

Lately it appears that there are more and more "fashion experts" commenting on these "royal sites". So many advices about colors or dullnes, what shoes one must wear, what length the dress should be, how the hair should be styled, etc. I would be really curious how these people dress in real life that they think are so qualified to give advices. Maybe people wear somethimg because they want or because they like it. And this should be enough.
ReplyDelete@ 08:32 "Fashion experts" versus how commentators dress ? Yes interesting question !! I think that most commentators on fashion blogs have more in mind fashion dreams rather than every day reality, also bearing in mind everyone's fashion budget.

DeleteIsn't it the purpose of this site to read what others think about what royals wear ? If nobody can tell anymore what they like or not, or what they find better or more attractive, better just publish the pictures to look at, without giving the opportunity to write a comment.
Anon 16.11, agree! If one is easily offended by fashion comments, then one should probably look around for other sites.
Paloma.
DeletePrince Julian resembles his nephew Oscar when he was younger !!
ReplyDeleteThe prince looks absolutely charming, along with his wife.
ReplyDeleteThe dress doesn't appeal to me, its long and the pattern of the fabric is dull looking. The overall look unfortunately is frumpy. A few inches shorter could make alo't of difference.
