On June 19, Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline attended the "Cœur Central" gala dinner jointly organized by the Monegasque Tennis Federation, chaired by Melanie-Antoinette de Massy, and the French Tennis Federation. This event took place on the clay court of the legendary Court Rainier III at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
The funds raised will be donated to "Terre d'Impact," the endowment fund of the French Tennis Federation. The funds will also benefit "Gemluc Monaco," a Monegasque association supporting medical research against cancer. Princess Caroline is the honorary president of GEMLUC Monaco (Group of Monegasque Companies in the Fight Against Cancer).

DeleteCharlotte's idea
DeleteKnew it! I actually wearing the same trowsers only in black, because this is my colour and I like the edgy style. And I prefer an open mind to a narrow minded view of things.
DeleteHm, I think I will add my voice to the NOs. Fortunately Charlene is dressing so much better.
DeleteI always look for the good in people’s style choices, but picture 3 shows that these outfits all end in puddles of trouser material and it’s severely messy… plus what a waste to buy new clothes and drag them along the floor. Want a serious discussion with trend leaders this season and the disrespect shown to all the overly long trousers! Mind you, a pretty good marketing trick to ensure everyone’s trousers will be promptly dirtied and torn and everybody will need to replace them next season. - Grace
ReplyDeleteComment peut on se vêtir aussi mal quand on est une Altesse sérénissime et princesse de Monaco
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
Underwhelming is the best I can think of!
ReplyDeleteThe top was fine.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got down to the too long pants, well.....I kinda wanted to barf.

Is Caroline wearing her niece Pauline's designs? That would be her only excuse.
ReplyDeleteYes, Pauline crossed my mind too, lol. — Jane

DeleteI went shopping yesterday and in all of the boutiques one can find these shiny and too long pants, also skirts are made in this material. I don't like it myself, but if her niece Pauline Ducruet designed it, she is surely not the only one.
How nice of you to call this a "design"!
DeleteHow must I call it then a "creation" ?
DeleteSimply call it a mess.
DeleteI think the earrings and blouse are beautiful together and suit P. Caroline so well. The jacket is quite smart too but it needs more structured trousers to complete the look. The overly long droopy pants just make the whole outfit look sloppy. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteFor the very first time I see Caroline dressed not the way she usually is.

Unfortunately what can I say, it definitely is not Princess Grace's way of dressing!
ReplyDeletePrincess Grace's way of dressing took place in another era. I know, I do not like everything I see these days in fashion land either and I certainly won't buy trousers like that for myself, but the trends are there and people are buying it. What I also noticed that the fashion boutiques are still full of clothes. Where I live you can buy already several summer clothes at a reduced price : from - 20 % to - 50% off the price. As well in the boutiques as in the big fashion stores they have tons of unsold clothes because people didn't buy new clothes this season. After the corona crisis everything became much more expensive + the bad weather we had almost all over Europe until now. It was really to cold to wear summer clothes and in the evening we still need a plaid to look at TV and during the day a jeans and a warm sweater and to go out a raincoat and an umbrella because it starts raining regularly. By the way, I didn't found anything that really pleased me in the fashion boutiques. If you really want something beautiful to wear at a special occasion, you have to pay the price anyway.
DeleteNoooooo, dreadful…all of them
ReplyDeleteThis outfit overall looks terrible. The pants are hanging and don't fit well. The jacket I don't like , it seems too big and bulky. The blouse underneath looks to have some lace, but its hard to tell. The outfit doesn't look stylish or elegant.
ReplyDeletePeut-être que je pourrais être d'accord pour la veste mais pas du tout, pour ce pantalon trop long qui pendouille sur ses chaussures ; ses délicates boucles d'oreilles sont tout à fait à mon goût !
ReplyDeleteErrrr well: Errrr well: Errrr, next please. 😀
ReplyDeleteThe third photo of Princess Caroline shows the expression I made when I got to the bottom. The outfit is not good. Those trousers!
ReplyDeleteOh my 😳 This is the worst I’ve seen on Caroline ever,
Paloma.
ReplyDeleteReally, what a horrible outfit. what was she thinking. css
ReplyDeleteI think Caroline was trying to look edgy and is not pulling it off. Obviously giving exposure to her niece’s clothing line as Stephanie does. Just not a fashion for everyone
ReplyDeleteI never saw anything on fashion sites or in fashion magazines (which I only read at the hairstylist's) of Pauline Ducruet's clothing line. I wonder under what name she sells her collection or in which country ? I never heard there has been a big campaign to promote the clothes she designs.
DeleteI think, even after a certain age a woman can look "edgy".
DeleteBut she has to accept that people may laugh at her.
Take a look at Iris Apfel, the very flamboyant American fashion designer.
At 100 years of age, she was sill zany.
Try Google "Iris Apfel photos".
Caroline's pants, bad material, way too baggy, dragging the floor, not a good look for any woman, especially at her age. She's likely to trip/stumble/fall.

Let’s put this one behind us. They say we shouldn’t comment if we don’t have something positive to say. I struggle to find the positive side in any of the outfits. Maybe Prince Albert looks ok-ish. There! I found something positive!
ReplyDeleteCH
Now I know to wear sloppy pants to a ‘gala’.
