A pretty skirt on Letizia. The white top is fine, but I prefer the pale pink top as shown on the model. Some colour on the blouse accentuates the skirt to me.

  2. Nice fresh summery outfit for Queen Letizia. I do think they could have arranged the line up differently with the tall lady next to the King and the small man next to the Queen!

IMO the white t-shirt and hippie-ish sandals do not do the skirt justice, and make this a far too casual look for an official event. I would prefer a pretty short-sleeved silky blouse in soft pink. And I feel QL needs to up her shoe game. There are so many attractive options available in flats, sandals, orthopedic shoes. Her stylist needs to become familiarized with these options. S.C.

Elle ne porte pas un tee-shirt mais bien une blouse, et sûrement en soie, mieux visible sur la 4e photo. Paloma.

True orthopedic shoes are not attractive. They may have more style than they once did, but they are not on the cusp of fashion trends. Letizia is still healing from a broken toe. I can't imagine her wanting to rush into more attractive footwear after the pain she has already been dealing with. If she doesn't feel comfortable having any straps near her toes or any height to her shoes, only she and her doctor(s) are privy to that information. She is one of the best dressed royal women, and her sense of style is on point. If she is wearing these sandals, there is a reason. They are cute, btw. You must be thinking of Birkenstocks. They have been associated with hippies since the 60s.

Totally agree with you. Prettier and more comfortable options are available.

I agree with you about the "hippie-ish sandals." This the second or third (?) time she's worn sandals when it would seem a more "dressy" shoe is more appropriate. I'm beginning to wonder if she might be suffering from some foot or feet issue. I know when I reached a certain age I just couldn't do the high heels anymore. My arches just don't have the same "snap back" flexibility any more.

I’m loving her shoe game as she explores shoes which are healthy for her feet! I admire her tremendously for bucking fashion trends and finding what works for her feet.- Grace

Here is a link to a close up of Letizia's sandals. They are not "beach sandals" an was so ignorantly stated below. You can also see her taped toes. She is obviously still suffering from the broken toes, and can see why she is avoiding anything that will irritate the fractures.

Pretty summery outfit from Queen Letizia. I really like the pink blouse shown on the model--maybe Letizia will try that look another time.

  6. The skirt is lovely. But again the choice of beach sandals is crashing the look. There might be more appropriate flat shoe options for a queen.

Son sandalias de swarosky, de vulgar nada, en España es muy común llevarlas, lo vulgar es llevar tacones y sombrero a un colegio público.

  13. The skirt is pretty and feminine. She looks lovely, though I prefer the pink top of the model.
