Beautiful fresh white outfits for Mrs Macron and Queen Camilla. The perfect choice for the event, and for the sunny weather by the way.

Both ladies look good; both in white, but each true to their own (and very different) signature styles.

Very interesting to see the two countries very different style on the ladies of about the same age: Queen Camilla: beautiful classical British lady, mad.me Macron: French modern styled.
For me, Queen Camilla has the most grandeur on this memorable day.

My same thoughts! I also think the different approaches are fitting to a royal and a public figure. My personal style is more with the First Lady but I really like the Queen’s outfit as well.

I agree. Interesting point and observation you make.
Camilla, 77 years old. Brigitte Macron, 71 years old.
Different approaches with their traditional fashion styles.

    3. I don’t think we take fashion (country) differences sufficiently into account when we make our comments.
I'm pleased you bought up the subject @ Anon 19:36.
An example is Duchess Sophie’s skirt lengths.
Lots and lots of comments about this.
From my visits to England, I find women wear their skirts/dresses a lot longer in length in comparison to other countries. AND, I think it is due to their climate.

Here we had an golde opportunity to share photos of all the royals participating like Frederik, Haakon, Philippe, Albert, William, Willem-Alexander, but not even Mathilde and Maxima is mentioned. Weird.

    1. No, not weird.
I think there is a limit on how many photos Helen (our blog administrator) can get onto the site. And she has to make a choice.
Surf around but I don’t think you’ll find another site with the number of photos presented that you find on Nexmyroyals.
To get what you would like to have, Helen would have to do a special edition.

Camilla looks quite nice. White was a good color choice for this, as was her brooch selection.

And the ladies are very close in age. I would suspect First Lady Macron works out regularly, eats a careful diet and pays attention to her overall well being. I am amazed at how gracefully she maneuvers her high heels. I wish i could have seen this lovely First Lady when I was in Paris last month, but only a glimpse on V- E Day at Arc de Triomphe.

  11. Mrs. Macron looks very stylish and chic. Her white outfit sits well, love the length. The Queen looks beautiful. Love her hat. The diamond scallop brooch is stunning, and was the perfect choice considering its heritage. Up close its stunning.

I've seen more pictures of Queen Mathilde and King Philippe when they talked with Prince William, the prince of Wales and with Joe Biden, the President of the U.S., when they were welcomed by Mr. and Mrs Macron, the presidential couple.
