On the eve of National Day 2024 celebrations, on June 22, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited Kehlen in Luxembourg. Every year, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess visit a different town in the country on the eve of National Day. In 2024, they were in Kehlen. On June 23, Luxembourg celebrates the Grand Duke's birthday, which is also commonly referred to as National Day.
Ahead of National Day 2024 celebrations, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie traditionally visited the second largest city in the country, Esch-sur-Alzette. The members of the Grand Ducal Family then attended the torchlight procession, organized by the various associations of Luxembourg City, and the grand fireworks display.
I don't know what MT is wearing a blouse or a vest, for me not the nicest look. I do like Stephanies outfit at least the color, not keen on the top. css
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can see of GD MT outfit looks quite nice, hard to make out what exactly the top half is. Princess Stephanie looks nice in this ensemble, it fits well. The top particularly has some interesting features, adding interest.

Cette nouvelle coiffure lui va vraiment très bien, elle met en valeur son visage. Les boucles d'oreilles semblent jolies aussi. Paloma.

I think just the opposite. I believe Stephanie looks wonderful. The pants are a nice cut on her, and the color is flattering. I wonder if you mistakenly thought the woman in photo no. 7 wearing the red outfit was Stephanie?

DeleteHGD Stéphanie is looking good in this ensemble of pants and cape-top. This is the kind of clothes she should wear more often. The fabric is fluid and the design is working well for her morphology.
ReplyDeleteGD Maria Teresa like always not afraid to wear something out of the ordinary. The jacket seems to be composed of different fabrics. She can wear pants and a top underneath in one of the colors in the jacket.
She loves children and embraces them like her own grand children.

Agree, to me she tries hard but doesn’t often get a “wow” result.
She should leave the “out of the ordinary” to the fashion show runways and catwalks and concentrate on simplicity which is known to be very close to elegance.
And yes, the Duchess seems to be very happy with children.
She must be happy with her big nest of grandkids.

DeleteWhen GD Maria Teresa and GD Henri were on state visit in Belgium lately, Maria Teresa was dressed not bad at all. She received good comments on this site. Sometimes she gets it right and sometimes her choices are not a success. We must not forget she is a little lady and they have always problems to find the right outfit. My late mother in law had the same problem. She was very petite. She rarely found an outfit in the ready to wear collections (of sometimes expensive brands). Lucky her sister was a professional "coupeuse", who made a lot of dresses and skirts + jackets for her.
Très jolies couleurs de la veste de Maria Teresa mais pourquoi la porte t-elle aussi longue ; cela cache trop sa combinaison. Toujours très bien coiffée avec les mèches qui lui vont à merveille !

ReplyDeleteP Stephanie looks absolutely fabulous. The red color suits her really great, the top show her lovely arms and it doesn’t look bulky on top. The pants look great on her. They make her look tall and slim. And she compliments it whit a lovely hairdo. I personally love the blazer on GDT. Lovely colorcombination with the earrings, top and pants, though I’m no fan of the top itself.

ReplyDeleteIMO Stephanie stepped up her game considerably with this outfit and with the recent blue gown. This fits her well, not too tight and flows gracefully. Very chic hairstyle . This is almost a 10 for me.
