  4. I absolutely love the color of the lemon dress and the laced pattern.
The hat is a perfect match.
The next two outfits are very neutral in comparison.
Looking forward to one more day of fashion in New York.

Agree with all the comments, elegant and lovely. One exception for me is the culotte. A culotte is an absolute no for me

I cannot nail my point, but both looks of the Governor Hochul are somehow
inelegant, especially from the waist down. My feeling, but perhaps other bloggers can offer better descriptions or suggestions, I am not very talented in this respect.

I’m not a fan of the governor, but there’s nothing wrong with her style. She’s a mature woman who dresses professionally.

  8. The lemony dress and hat are sweet, fun and look great on Q Maxima. Not wild about the gaucho and jacket set. The white set is nicer and is styled perfectly. She's had some great hair days in the US

I love the yellow dress and hat but wish she had worn her hair up or in a ponytail for the hat. Her hair style with the hat is off. But she does look great in that dress. Don't like the stiff jacket with the beige outfit. Wish the fabric for the jacket was the same as the rest of the outfit because I really like that part of the outfit--it's soft and has flow and movement. The white pantsuit is stellar! Queen Maxima looks beautiful and I love, love, love the necklace she is wearing.

The beige was actually blush and seeing it in person it was stunning on her! Or maybe, as a member of the Dutch staff said, she is the Queen. She is Maxima. When meeting her one is impressed with her

Because of the long, bell sleeves, I like QM's white outfit much better than the pink version that QMathilde wore earlier (visit Luxembourgh royal couple). The long necklace is a nice touch to this beautiful outfit which looks very elegant on QM.

Wonderful to read that quite a few posters on this blog were able to see QM during this working visit. It's good to read that the queen is genuinely interested, while some on this blog enjoy bashing her (even though they've never met her in person)

That's why I like these working visits that Royals do. It gives them the chance and opportunity to visit and to engage with places, towns, cities and communities that they cannot do when on a state visit. They get to meet real people and to be real people themselves, which they are, away from all the fuss and formalities that state visits entail. And as you say, real people such as contributors on this blog also get a chance to see them in real life. Have to say that Maxima and Willem Alexander have done exceedingly well on this visit.

I agree with your fashion comments as well. Maxima's fashion style choices have been fantastic, and her warm personality truly shines.

Lovely yellow dress. Awful hat, messy hair with the hat.

Love the 60s style lemon yellow dress. Fabulous. The hat is good but I agree with Janet that an undo would have looked better with it. Tiny complaint given how good her hair has looked on this trip. The white trouser suit looks good but not a fan of the beige one
