King Philippe of Belgium, along with three of his children, attended the Cologne stadium to support the Belgian national football team (Red Devils). King Philippe, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eleonore watched the UEFA Euro 2024 Group E football match between Belgium and Romania. For their second match of Euro 2024, the Red Devils were up against Romania on Saturday evening and emerged victorious with a score of 2-0.
How marvelous to see the children out and about at the football. Excellent!
ReplyDeletePhilippe and Mathilde have beautiful children!-Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteDes photos bien sympathiques !
ReplyDeleteEleonore, when smiling, is a 100% her mother!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the exact same thing! She also strongly resembled Mathilde 's sister. -Jacqueline

DeleteWhy all that speculation ? If you see pictures of Queen Mathilde before she got married, she was a complete different lady. Her hair was much darker, her teeth has changed since then. She was dressed too old for her age.... By the time her youngest daughter will have a partner and children, she might look completely different from her mother or her aunts Hélène or Elisabeth.
To me she sometimes, not often looks a bit like her father when he was a young boy. We also forget that King Leopold III was a handsome man when he was young and even when he was older he still looked good. He was her great grand father.
Wow, googeling Queen Mathilde as young she was very very beautiful, and always very regal. But I fully agree, Princess Eleonore looks a lot like her father when he was young.
DeleteI love the 5th picture where the 2 brothers and sister embrace each other, probably when the "Red devils" made a goal. They all wore the red scarf and Princess Eleonore wore red pants too. King Philippe should have worn a red tie.
ReplyDeleteThe princes wore no tie and looked very relaxed.
Princess Eleonore is growing into a young beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful young people in every sense of the word. This family is the most sympathetic Belgian royal family in our history.
ReplyDeleteI agree! They're the first normal family one can relate to too :-)
