On May 23, 2024, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the premiere of the documentary film "Science by Women" at Cine Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid. The film tells the story of the first 8 years of the project "Science by Women/Ellas Investigan", in which African women scientists spent time at the best research centers in Spain.
In the documentary, women scientists are addressing crucial issues such as gender inequality, the professional obstacles and the gulf that separates science in their environments from that of Western countries. They are highlighting the problems concerning access to industry, and the lack of adequate technical resources to carry out their research work.
The film was produced by the Women for Africa Foundation (FMxA), chaired by María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, former member of the Spanish Government. The role of women is fundamental in the development of Africa. Through this film, the FMxA aims to contribute to the development of the continent.
Another smart pantsuit for Letizia.
ReplyDeleteShe must have dozens of these in her wardrobe.
This blue pantsuit looks chic and stylish, I do love the color, suits the Queen well.. The white camisole works in well. The white runners don't look out of place. Comfortable and what she needs right now, good for her. Well done Ma'am.
ReplyDeleteStunning look on Letizia and I’m so excited that such a fashionable woman is showing that completely healthy shoes can look absolutely fabulous with a great suit. I so much want fashion to move from harmful shoes. This colour is wonderful on Letizia. - Grace
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely Grace.
DeleteI often wonder what problems the women who wear these very high heels will experience.
Perhaps bunions and back pain for starters.
I hope Letizia starts a bit of trend with her comfortable sneakers.
I love the pantsuit but not the white top with a lace neckline. It is so outdated. I prefer it when she wears her pantsuits with a plain white or black top.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour , agree with another commenter about the shoes - but just feel the suit swamps her tiny frame. LRB
ReplyDeleteBeautifully coloured suit. A bit loose but I suppose that is the style.
Paloma.
Toujours aussi chic
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
I think the jacket is a bit too large and too long which spoils the proportions of the outfit, however the colour is great on A. Letitia.
ReplyDeleteAnd I’m another poster in favour of comfortable shoes for our royal ladies. These women are on their feet at numerous engagements and they should always put their health and comfort ahead of so-called fashion. (V.M.)
The suit is nice, a lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteGreat pantsuit and great colour on Queen Letizia - well done.
ReplyDeleteAlways in style. Lovely suit and strong color. css
ReplyDeleteThis indigo paintsuit is very flattering on Queen Letizia.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
