Princess Astrid of Belgium presented the 2023 diplomas of the Prince Albert Fund at the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (VBO) in Brussels. The fund provides young Belgian professionals grants to support them in realizing a business project for a Belgian company outside Europe. The Prince Albert Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to help talented young professionals acquire experience in creating international projects.

DeletePrincess Astrid is a hard working princess who does a lot for needy causes e.g. Red Cross and others.
DeleteHowever fashion doesn’t appear to be her forté.
Sometimes her outfits are a bit of a miss.
She seems to go for high name designers but that doesn’t always correct the situation.

DeleteI don't think Princess Astrid is still working for the Red Cross in Belgium. 3 or 4 years ago, maybe more the Red Cross in Belgium split up in the Flemish section of the Red Cross and the French speaking section. With the usual language quarrels. Since then she did not wished to be president any more.
There is blue in her skirt but it is navy and not cobalt blue like her jacket. I also see red in the skirt but it is not the same red as her shoes. I would have worn this skirt with a navy jacket and navy shoes.
The last years she changed her dressing style from very classic to very modern sometimes.
Princess Astrid is leading the economic missions abroad together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and other ministers of Foreign Trade to help her brother King Philippe, wo did this before her and after his father former King Albert I. The presentation of the diploma's of the Prince Albert fund at the Federation of Belgian Enterprises is in line with her work for the economic missions.

I like the jacket, the shoes and the skirt but not together! lovely to see her anyway.

ReplyDeleteThe blue jacket is a glorious color, though not combined with this skirt and the shoes. Regardless it is lovely to see her at this event.
