On May 28, 2024, Japan's Princess Kako visited the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens. The Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) is a classical cultural and touristic monument of Greece. Afterwards Princess Kako visited a local judo club. On May 29, Princess Kako visited a national institution for the deaf. The trip to Greece takes place on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Greece.
She looks very lovely in both outfits but the pink jacket with the dark blue dress is my favourite. So beautiful with the pink shoes.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that there were two pairs of pink shoes - one flat, for the first visit, which must have involved a lot of walking, and then the second, heeled pair for the indoor visit. Very sensible, and they both match very well.
DeleteLots of lace today, and it all looks good on P.Kako
ReplyDeleteI also like the way she has styled her hair.

How absolutely wonderful she looks! And this smile!
ReplyDeleteJe n'aime pas vraiment les robes en dentelle.
ReplyDeleteLa princesse de Galles a presque la même que la 2e.
J'adore les deux petites vestes ! Paloma
Both lace dresses are very nice. Navy and fuchsia is one of my favourite colour combos so I prefer this. Interesting to see that both her flat shoes and the once with heel are the same pink colour.
ReplyDeleteWell stated.I like that both pairs of shoes are the same colour so she can switch. They do look alittle big though. Its a shame that the style of heels never changes, even making the vamp narrower would look nicer.
DeleteIt looks like she's wearing the same outfit twice, but in different colours. Although the dress has a different fabric. Eitherway, she looks great: elegant in a modern way. The colours suit her well. She's such an asset to the Japanese royal family.

I had the same thought. It looks like the same dress pattern. I have thought that they have been using the same few basic patterns for decades and changing small details because the women have been wearing the same dresses for casual to formal occasions with only minor changes.
DeleteTrop jolie dans ce fuchsia combiné au bleu marine mais des chaussures blanches auraient apporté un meilleur look !
ReplyDeletePretty outfits, the whole visit. Christine
ReplyDeleteI agree. She has really shone on this visit

bella principessa! però la cinta nera con complimenti bianchi non é la migliore soluzione ...
ReplyDeletePrincess Kako has turned out to be a great asset to the Japanese Imperial Family. Her wardrobe on this trip was nicely put together, her Kimonos in particular, of course, but also anything else she wore, and she seemed to truly enjoy herself during this visit.
ReplyDeleteThough I am not a fan of lace dresses, particularly for daytime, both these dresses look lovely on the Princess. The flat shoes are sensible and don't look out of place. She emanates a real sweetness, lovely lady and princess.
ReplyDeleteKako looks beautiful in both outfits! I love the pink and blue (Kako is one smart young lady who brought flats and heels to wear with this outfit). The pink and blue is very snazzy and a bit fashion forward for a Japanese princess (at least to me). The pretty blue and white outfit is princess perfect as well as a bit more the expected, conservative look for a Japanese princess. What I love is the lace in both dresses--it is elegant and lovely on Kako.

À really lovely young woman, well dressed in her Japanese way.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are lovely Kako you are a royal star. Mary
ReplyDeleteI prefer the light blue dress and white jacket.
ReplyDeleteNice look for the Pss. I like her in the light blue lace and short jacket better. css
