  1. I will be glad when these extra wide pants go out of fashion.
Not sure that the shirt, blazer and pants are a good match.

I do as well, Rossella. I would like to know what Cate and Anon 17:06 were wearing in the 1970s when wide legged pants were what everyone was wearing.

    4. I also love wide pants but can't wear very wide because of my height (162 cm). I hate skinny pants and carrot pants, only streight and wide pants give balance and look good. Carrot pants look good only cropped imo.

@Anon 01:21 You're assuming that Cate (and others) was even around in the 70s or of an age to wear what you describe. Yes, it appears that the majority of posters here are older, but many are not, and are far younger than you assume.

@Anon 9:13 That would make it even worse! If they weren't on their second time around with this style, which I can understand can make you feel like you have "been their, done that", why the objection? This is where styles have gone. When you get stuck in a rut with your fashion, never accepting new styles, you age yourself before your time. The late Queen Elizabeth II had better style in her tenth decade of life than some women half her age. I was a child of the 70s and wore wide legged pants, and wear them again now. And Anon 9:13, I don't assume everyone here is older, but I do think the median age skews that way. I just wanted you to know that.

For those saying petite women can't wear these pants, they are wrong. It is necessary to buy clothing cut for petite women. The proportions are altered for shorter people. That would be like saying unless you are built like a professional model, you shouldn't bother getting dressed in the morning because that is who clothes are originally designed to look best on. We come in all shapes and sizes. We need to dress the body we have.

The blouse and pants are a good fit, though a blazer in another colour would have been better.

The lady in white her dress is too short. Queen Mary's outfit is nice but nothing special.

  4. A mon avis, les pantalons de la reine Mary sont très larges et la dame en blanc a une robe trop courte !!

  7. I got used to the wide legged pants and the fit Qn Mary very nicely. I am not fully convinced by the blouse.

No, per me questa giacca bianca non funziona. Sarebbe stata meglio se nera oppure in uno dei colori della camicia, tono su tono. Belli invece i pantaloni.

  9. Queen Mary looks well groomed and her ensemble looks lovely, though the color of her jacket I don't like. The Navy accessories look fabulous with her Navy pants. I don't like the wide leg pants at all.

Not a huge fan of the extra wide trouser.Especially on a petite frame like QM.The blouse is a lovely addition ,though the jacket it so much.

Why is it still called Crown Princess Mary Awards and NOT Queen Mary as thats her title now?
